Joy the owner was absolutely amazing. The guest was definitely treated extremely well and highly respected. Joy went out of his way to ensure our group of ten had everything we needed..and more.. Our breakfast was the best ever with a fantastic menu superbly cooked and presented.

Bit of a walk from the station with heavy luggage which would be the only thing that might stop us staying another time - but we were aware of this before booking.

Noise from traffic - but this cannot be changed by the owners!

Joy helped us with our luggage when we arrived. The room was very comfortable. Lovely shower and the bathroom is very clean and attractive.

What a beautiful gem of a B&B in Inverness! Joy was a fantastic host - welcoming me warmly and making sure I had everything I needed for a great 1-night stay, including great suggestions for things to do in Inverness and restaurant recommendations. The room was beautiful and very large - loved the king size bed. The bathroom was stunning - impeccably clean with a shower and gorgeous separate bath. This particular room faced the street which seems like it is fairly busy; however I always travel with a small white noise sound machine, so if there was any street noise I did not notice it. Just something for other visitors to be aware of. The attention to detail here is superb. I had an early start the next morning so wasn't able to stay for breakfast - I will just have to come back! :)

Carisbrooke Guest House offers a warm, friendly welcome from a helpful host. The room includes a wealth of information with recommendations for things to do and places to eat and drink in Inverness. Its convenient location makes exploring the city easy, and the breakfast is simply delightful. Highly recommended!

My stay was very comfortable, the room was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast of porridge, salmon with scrambled eggs and toast hit the spot. Location was excellent and just a short walk to the town centre. Owners are lovely and make you feel very welcome.

The bed was smaller than we are used to.

Our hosts, Joy and Eloi, were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect for getting to the city centre and for riverside walks. The private parking is really useful.

The location was perfect - ideal for a stroll right into the heart of the city. The owner was kind and gracious and he was fun to chat with. He was an exceptional host and the house itself was gorgeous. The room was so comfortable and it felt like being home. We never wanted to leave. Definitely will go back again.
