The biggest issue I had with my room was the noise that came from upstairs. There was a lot of crashing and banging for a while which was very distracting when trying to relax. The lack of a bin in the sleeping area was also difficult. There was a small one in the bathroom but not one in the living space.

The room itself was a decent size and was very decent facilities wise. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The bathroom light was also automatic. For what it was. It's an absolute bargain. So well priced. The person I met and got welcomed by was so pleasant

The property is beautiful, located convenient to Nottingham. The rooms are small, but more than adequate with lovely en-suite bathrooms. The breakfast room was a nice surprise and a great idea!

I made the booking at short notice as my reservation for another place was cancelled at the last minute. The Chatterley House was very clean and comfortable though breakfast was more of a self-catering option. It suited me not to have much interaction with staff other than being told where to park and gaining access codes. It felt a little odd with 'romantic' styled furniture in the rooms but otherwise catering more for business travellers.

Small room was very small, though fine for our one night stay. Double bed against wall, had to climb over hubby to get out.

Met by owner. Made welcome, everything explained. Allocated parking. Breakfast room with fridge and OK to use for evening takeaway. Tea coffee, juice, water all available. DIY breakfast at any time. Toast, spreads, eggs, croissants, cereal, fresh coffee.

Nothing to complain about, loved our 2 night stay! Quite warm while we were there in June 2022, only thing we could have done with is an electric fan for the night-time, but not exactly a deal breaker, just something we would have liked.

Excellent location, train station 5 minute walk away so very easy to get into Nottingham, Leeds etc. 12 minutes on the train into Nottingham, approx 24 mile drive to Sherwood Forest (which is beautiful). Breakfast was more than good enough, cereals, pain au chocolat, bread for toast, coffee, tea, water, juice. Bed very comfortable, en-suite shower etc. Free parking on-site. Even has a gym if you're into that sort of thing! Would definitely recommend!

The bed was OK but the pillows were a bit too firm. The quilt seemed pretty heavy too. Hear alot of noise when people are moving around outside your room and a bit annoying when the hall way light keeps coning on when you are trying ti sleep. Kept us awake for a while as people were coming and going.

The location was good. The room was lovely but smaller than we thought it was going to be. Could Do with a bin under the kettle for rubbish. Breakfast was good. Room very clean and tidy.

The parking was convenient and the property is close to main roads. The gentleman who welcomed me and showed me the facilities was very friendly and helpful. Had I been feeling better the gym equipment would have been good to use.

Location is opposite an industrial estate.

Comfortable room. Access to the breakfast room and crockery/cutlery was handy. Easily walkable from the train station.

Not much of any importance. The room was small with little space to put clothes down. The en-suite also had little space for putting down wash-bags etc.

The make-it-yourself breakfast suited us, and there was a wide enough range of items to choose from. After the initial welcome, the hosts didn't bother us, which was fine.
