The room was much too hot as the pipes were boiling - we had to have the window open, fan and air con running all night.

Swimming pool was rammed with teenagers from a coach tour one day then pretty much taken over by swimming lessons the next. Really spoiled our stay unfortunately.

Family room was a bit shabby, especially the bathroom. Air con provided very little cool air so the room was uncomfortably hot overnight.

As lovely the staff and location was, food was lovely aswell, unfortunately our room was right next to a landing door which creeked every time someone went through it, and in the morning at 8am there was no hot water in our shower, only luke warm water out of the bath tap, this resulted in me (8months pregnant) having to lay down under the tap to wash my hair. Other than that i would recommend as the staff were very nice and hotel it self was great.

The kids loved the pool, and the beds were very comfy. Staff were more than helpful and friendly.

blackout curtains let in light around the sides - issue with young kids and early wake-up’s Seals on the window had gone so could hear the a55, not a massive issue but for the amount we paid, would expect silence at night.

The bar man and one of the duty managers (not Lucy) were not very friendly or approachable at all. The duty manager more so than the other as weeks prior to our stay I wanted to see the room to make sure it was what I was expecting only for her to dismiss my concern and all I got was that I can't see the rooms as they were booked/occupied. This was fair enough but she could have tried to at least smile and put my mind at ease. I booked the superior room and out of the two I expected the one with the modern bathroom which has separate bath and shower but found out on the day I was given the ground floor one instead. Avoid this room as much as you can as the bathroom has the shower in the bath and I am still not sure what is above that room but you will not have a great sleep with the noise coming from people walking, running or jumping.

Two of the staff members were great, Lucy the duty manager and the girl in reception. The spa facilities was good although steam room was closed

One of our pillows had blood stains on it. Hotel was fairly clean but no air conditioning and phone didn't work.

Very easy check in. Room size was ok. Bed was quite big but it was two singles.out together so wasn't very comfortable. Windows were able to be opened so was nice to get fresh air. TV was a great size and you were able to stream from your phone which was fab

There is no elevator in the building so it was difficult to take the pram and luggage to the room.

Ordered a newspaper for 2 mornings and both times ordered wrong paper. No shower in pool area for use after sauna and steam room which was very strange?
