Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Brilliant A 2 min walk to the Gloucester Tube station, plenty of local supermarkets and eating places, 10 -15 min walk to Harrods. Way beyond what we expected. Location, Staff, Facilities. Location is by Gloucester Tube Station which is an amazing location to access different tube lines. Walking distance to the park. The neighboured hood is lively and there are lots of restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacy, and grocery stores. We had a 2 bedroom apartment as we were travelling with our 2 kids, and it was very comfortable, spacious, comfortable beds, great kitchen, washing machine/dryer. We had daily cleaning service, water bottles, coffee, tea, and supplies for laundry. But mostly the staff were so friendly, helpful, courteous, and always available. We really enjoyed our conversations with Michael who greeted us everyday and really wished we could have seen him on the last day!. He brighten up our days. We highly recommend Cheval Gloucester.

RussiaThe most thing we didn't like is that reception team asked to provide full card details (including CVC code) to secure a deposit. Looks very strange, as all other 5-star hotels/apartment allow doing this via payment-terminal or web-site in a secure way, without sharing sensitive information with others.
Good overall house condition, very friendly staff, very clean, very good beds, warm and comfortable inside. Great location - very close to underground station, grocery stores etc.,

ThailandI honestly cannot think of anything serious really! Dining out might be a bit less convenient as there are not many options in the immediate neighborhood; but it's a trade-off I am willing to take.
Very convenient location, right at the Gloucester Road Station. The neighborhood is also very quiet. The room sizes are perfect for family of 3 to 4. Our most favorite part is that they have a bathroom for each room plus one extra rest room in the common area (so 3 total!). The common area is also spacious with good entertainment system. Service is also very good. The staffs are very nice and helpful and friendly. They help taking care of our luggage as we arrived very early on the check-in date; and help move all our luggage to our room. They also offer the extra room for us to stay in the check-out day as my flight was later in the day. The housekeeping is also very good and clean the room very well; especially for the fact that we cooked some of our meals so it required lots of cleaning. Thank you for the great experience! We really look forward to coming back again!

AustraliaThe area around Gloucester Road station is a bit unsavoury. However this is not something that is under the control of Cheval, and as soon as you turn the corner, into the property, you don't notice it at all.
We loved the the location, being so close to the tube, in walking distance of many major attractions in London, as well as some shops, including a very good Waitrose and Boots. We also loved that the Cheval Gloucester Park is tucked away, a little haven, yet so conveniently located. We had a bonus in that we were upgraded to a 2-bedroom apartment, which was extremely luxurious and comfortable. We really appreciated it.
