Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe staff was 50/50 helpful. There really isn't a main reception desk since it has check in/out kiosk, so you just sort if stand there trying to find a person. Either they are prompt and you have amazing service or you are ignored as they chat with other staff. Probably depends on the shift or staff. If you are looking for a room that two people fit without strategically having to move out of each other's way this might not be your place.
This hotel has a lovely view if you select that room. The bed was comfortable, but hard with two people. The lobby is open 24 hours a day and understands jet lag. This hotel is close to Victoria Station which makes it easy to get around and is one if the stops for the HOHO bus. It is about a 20 minute walk from Westminster Abby.

BrazilThe hotel doesn't have a Laundy service and they suggested me to contact a famous app called Laundry Heap. Unfortunatelly this app had a problem processing my stuff and did not deliver my clothes. I'm aware that it is not Hotel's fault, but if it is a partner that they are recommending, they should be more prepared for this kind of situation. The staff offered help to get my stuff back, since I'm not in London anymore.
The decor of the hotel is incredible, it looks like you are in modern art gallery. The restaurant, bar and staff are there to help you 24/7. The food is good, the drinks are good, and the room is super high-tech. I loved my stay and want to extend my words to thank some staff members that helped to please my stay: Manoj, Natalie, Monisha and Miguel.

PanamaMaybe the bed only having one side to get off could be the only thing that we disliked.
This hotel is located conveniently near Victoria Station and the ambiance is incomparable, it is modern and comfortable. We were greeted and served by Cirilo whom was the best host in all of our trip around Europe. Will definitely book again.

United StatesIt was a bit on the expensive side, but that is mostly due to the terrific location and worth the extra expense.
True, American sized King size beds! And the location is perfect for a trip to London. Walkable. Close to Victoria Station. Lots of restaurants, pubs and clubs. The concept is VERY modern. You have a small sleeping pod and the "living" area is the lobby. The shower is awesome. Everything is controlled by iPad. The rooms we had would not have been suitable for those with disabilities or anyone with mobility issues.

CyprusOnly problem was with the tablet not always letting to connect our phones to the TV, had to restart several times. Plus, the blinds wouldn't raise or lower by using the tablet, only by pressing the switch on the wall (and even that didn't work every time). Everything else was great though!
Perfect location. We loved the design of the hotel, especially the lobby. Good breakfast/food. The option of choosing the lighting colour in the room was a nice bonus as well.

United KingdomSink was in the room, not in the bathroom - I’m not a fan of that. Room was small when travelling with a large suitcase. Aircon lacked some power and the iPad that was meant to control everything failed the morning I was leaving. I’m sure the staff would have rectified that if I’d asked.
Staff, great location, style and atmosphere. Great view from the 8th floor.

BelgiumCleaning only every three days the room is a bit too stingy given the after all high price. Every second day would be acceptable.
CitizenM sets a standard you can rely on across Europe: small but welldesigned rooms, perfect shower, agreeable commons where you could even work in a nice atmosphere…..

CanadaThe IPAD system was pretty sweet overall. I mean, from mood lights and general lights, to TV, to Blackout drapes, and a day curtain, climate control all worked great...if you're good with technology. Once in awhile it didn't respond the way I thought it would, so just went back to good old manual method. The outer edge of the bed was slightly worn, where I imagine most people sit, so maybe mattresses need to be flipped more often?
Great option to just have ala carte . Most days we had a bowl of yoghurt, with topping like fruit or granola etcetera, and it was only 2 pound 50! Every staff member really seemed to dig their job. Always upbeat, smiling and talkative. The "living room" was a great common area to just hang out, relax, eat. Very sweet setup. I like that there is an option to not have your room cleaned, and they donate 3 euros every time you don't get a cleaning to a charity organization. Location is sweet, right next to The Victoria Station Underground, so that was a big factor for me in choosing this place. Love that they have Chromecast built in to the TVS s o you can cast.

United KingdomThe bed was fine, I prefer a slightly firmer mattress is all. The room was quite technology advance with everything controlled from an iPad BUT there was no usb charging anywhere (that I could find!) which seems an odd oversight
Helpful and attentive staff. Funky well presented public areas and the room itself was small it very well thought out. Would definitely stay at a citizenM again, was duper

RomaniaHaving the bathroom in the middle of the room was a bit odd. Would have been great if the toilet would have been separate from the shower.
