I felt the car park was on the expensive side but very convenient

Location is great, the view of the river is lovely. The car park was handy and we mostly used taxies to get around the town.

Only criticism would be that bathrooms would benefit from upgrade, clean but quite dated.

Excellent location, large room with great views, lovely breakfast, comfy bed.

The hotel was very warm, particularly the bedroom. I did find a fan in the wardrobe but ...

Parking was a bonus and influenced my booking. Very clean hotel in all areas.

Being charged for car parking - it's a a stealth fee that's not communicated in advance.

It's disappointing that hotel guests are required to pay for overnight parking - £10. It's a stealth fee that isn't communicated on the website.

Great weekend in a conveniently located spot, though rooms could do with aircon and refurb.

It was a warm weekend, but the rooms do not have air conditioning, so it was very uncomfortable. Despite being pitched as superior, the club rooms are quite tired and would benefit from a refurb. Also, the river view rooms on the club floor have the view spoilt a bit by the canopy that sticks out from the hotel.

The location is fantastic. Right on the quayside and minutes walk from bars, restaurants and attractions. The public areas are light and airy, and the bar ha great position overlooking the river. The city centre is not far either. Checking in and out was a straightforward experience. The car park is secure.

The rooms are a little old fashioned. On a very warm weekend there is no air conditioning in the room which made sleeping a little bit uncomfortable. For some reason we heard the metro train crossing the bridge over The Tyne. Which again disrupted our sleep.

The location of the hotel is brilliant as The Quayside is very close by. Parking the car was very easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very clean hotel

Bathroom was a little dated, with old fittings and cracked tiles. Text and email at 08:00 enquiring when I was checking out. Almost felt like they wanted me out of the hotel. Air-conditioning was noisy and did not work.

Large, clean and spacious room. The view over the river Tyne was fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. It had a great location and check in was swift.
