I really enjoyed my stay - Heather was the perfect host. My room was quiet and private with it's own shower room and toilet. Breakfast was very good. Heather was very helpful giving me lots of suggestions about the surrounding area. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

What a B&B gem! Heather greeted us with warmth and a big smile! Our room was fresh, bright, and cheerful with a very comfortable bed, refrigerator, sitting area and compact bathroom! Heather brought us a "wee taste of whiskey" while we unpacked. She was very helpful with dinner and site seeing recommendations and made reservations for us. The city center is an easy 10-15 minute walk, which was welcomed after our lovely dinners. Finally, the breakfasts are a real treat starting with a yogurt parfait or the most delicious porridge ever, followed by a full Scottish breakfast of your choice. What is not to love! You will not be disappointed booking here.

I loved everything and Heather's kindness and help was amazing! The place is really convenient from the station and city centre, just a bit of a walk, and the house is the perfect welcome to Scotland!

Heather is the sweetest! The room was comfortable. She provided a delicious and thoughtful breakfast each morning. And was kind enough to make dinner reservations for us both evenings at local spots. We arrived early and she kindly let us put our bags in our room before check in time so we could explore town. If I ever find myself back in Inverness, I would hands down stay with her again! Thank you for everything Heather! P.S. we got to meet her sweet dog, Mocha and kitty, Jingle! Just the cherry on top!

What an outstanding stay! The room was amazing and I have never stayed in a larger more comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean and Heather our host was charming, welcoming and so very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and this quiet residential area suited us perfectly. Thank you so much for making us feel very welcome - we would love to return next year.

This was a lovely estate home and felt like you were staying in a warm B&B with a welcoming family atmosphere. I was greeted by both Mocha the dog and Jingle the cat which set the perfect tone to my stay!

I had a wonderful stay with Heather(and Mocha). After having to change my plans because of a storm, I contacted Heather to see if I could come a day early and stay an extra night, she was quick to reply and I was lucky she had room for me. Her porridge was amazing and it felt like a home away from home. Heather, thank you so much for the wonderful stay.

Nothing to dislike -- a perfect stay!

Beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. Easy, short walk to downtown. Great breakfast was included. Host family could not be nicer. They even picked me up when I got a bit turned around walking there from the train station! Inverness is a lovely city, very close to the Culloden Battlefield, the terrible aftermath of which is why so many Scots left Scotland for America, N. Ireland, etc. Well worth visiting!

Crown House is the perfect location! It's in a lovely area and is a short walk to downtown, the train station and the bus station. Many tours leave from the bus station so they are easy to get to as well. Heather, the owner, is friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. She had many recommendations and was always available to help with any bookings. I highly recommend Crown House.

Crown house is absolutely lovely, beautifully decorated period features, comfortable, warm and absolutely spotless. The location is perfect, it’s so close to the town centre but you’d have no idea that you are, the road is so quiet! Heather is a great host and the breakfasts were lovely too.

This is a spectacular property. I stay in more than 100 hotels a year, many 4 and 5* and this rates at the very top for me. The room was very spacious, spotless clean, decorated with a lot of love and personal touches, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was incredibly tasty (home cooked!). The biggest asset are the people running this hotel, who treat their guests like their own family. I would come back to Inverness just to experience this spectacular hospitality.

Heather was a wonderful host. If you had a question she either knew the answer or could find out for you. Was very helpful and genuinely pleasant. Would stay there again. Quite the selection for breakfast and very good.

I liked everything, it couldn’t have been better 😊. Heather was a wonderful hostess; the room was perfect and breakfast was delicious! Plus, it’s in a great location - less than a 10 minute walk from both the train and bus stations and the downtown shopping Centre, East Gate.

Crown House was situated walking distance to the city centre in a quiet residential area. It was a charming place with everything you need and Heather provided an excellent breakfast to start your day. Heather even organised bookings for dinner contacting each restaurant as well as giving us tips to access quality Scottish music.
