How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

This isnt a specific to this hotel but heathrow taxis are expensive. Make sure you chose the right hotel for your terminal. We were flying from terminal 3 and local ubers/taxis were pretty expensive for a fairly short journey!
Short airport hopper bus ride from Terminal 5, comfortable room. Nice to have lounge access for a couple of drinks and the staff in the lounge were really nice. Was a great price when we booked for a short overnight stay when arriving into london and then flying out the next day. I would stay here again if the price was right.

Room was as far from the elevator as it was possible to be which was a long distance to wheel suitcases on carpet when weary after travel. Reception staff slow in attending on arrival.
Great for a one night stay before flying out of Heathrow. Bar was great for relaxing and eating after a long days travel. Room was a great size and well sound proofed. Easy walk to terminal 4 for early morning flight. Bed was very comfortable.

Bar staff were acceptable, however a bit slow in service despite not be overloaded.
Crowne Plaza is very convenient for Heathrow Terminal 4 , access from terminal via undercover walkways. The lobby and public area were both spacious. Internet in all areas used was Good,. Front desk checkin/out. Staff were excellent.Excellent breakfast which offered a broad range of food..

Nil significant.
We used the hotel for a over-night stopover at Heathrow Airport between a flight from Australia then an early morning flight the next day to Iceland. Good value, quiet, and easy to access from the various terminals using the free train transfer service.

Despite being clear about the requirements for the two rooms (one suite and one standard), it took over 35 minutes for the front desk attendant to check us in. It was as if they had given no thought to which rooms we would be assigned to. Very frustrating especially as we had arrived from a long journey and were travelling with two small children.
Perfect location providing easy access to Terminal 4.

Our first room smelled of cigarette smoke so we requested a change. This was done without hesitation but the change was time consuming and irksome. Could have been prevented by alert housekeeping staff.
Appreciated the vegetarian options on the menu and the included breakfast. Our second room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We booked the CP due to its proximity to Heathrow - great stepping off place to fly out the next day.

Didn't have many gluten free options for breakfast or lunch apart from the fried eggs and bacon.
room was very confortable, I really Iliked the toiletries, and the make up mirror was appreciated, as not many hotels still have these.

No hotel operated courtesy bus, only an Airport which cost £6.80, we ended up getting a fixed price taxi which was not much more than the bus option.
Close to terminal 5 for connecting flight in the morning

An earlier checkin would have been great - especially as we came from Australia ( with a long layover, it was about 30 hours) - we were exhausted. We eventually got one, but still a 5 hour wait?( I appreciate that it’s not their fault we arrived at that time)
Perfect location, short covered walk from T4. Comfy bed, super quiet room, luggage storage, late-ish checkout, convenient restaurant on site.

Shower tap/handle came off with first use, luckily it was the temperature controller which was already set to a comfortable temp. So didn't impact us apart from noise when it dropped off.
Location perfect for arrival and departure and onward journey. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great. Bar area comfy and relaxing for night cap.
