I felt the bed was very firm. Too firm for my liking and almost uncomfortable. We paid for breakfast as an addition during our stay. In my opinion it's way overpriced. Almost £20 a head for very run of the mill produce is way over the top.

The Pool, steam room and jacuzzi. The room was clean and had everything we required.

No alcohol in the mini bar which was disappointing. Pillows were really uncomfortable.

Rooms were beautiful and clean. Staff very friendly and couldn't do more for you. Great location, short walk into the city center but also slightly out as to not be bothered by loud music etc.. Super close to the Utilita stadium which is what we were in Newcastle for. Extra bonus is that is was full of famous footballers and Enduro bikers when we stayed.

We had a long wait for food on the Wednesday evening. I know it was because of the numbers turning up for the conference, and we should have booked, but I didn't know what time we would be able to set off and what time we would arrive as it was a nearly 3 hour drive. It would have nice to have had a couple of biscuits with the tea/coffee in the room 😋

We stopped overnight as part of a conference the following day. The rooms were lovely, comfy beds, plenty of room, spacious shower. The breakfast was lovely, a good selection of foods. Staff were nice and helpful. We went to have a swim at 7.30am and the lady on the pool reception was friendly and very helpful, explaining everything that we needed to know. A great way to start the day!

One of the best hotels I've been to in England

The hot tub was on only for 2 minutes with a 7 minute break following after. And that kept repeating. It wasn't that hot either. I didn't think it would bother me at first, but once I was there and just wanted to enjoy myself for a bit longer, it was really annoying to only get 2 minutes out of it. There was also a moment where I was registering my interest in the spa treatments where a younger staff member came and started chatting with the person dealing with me. I wouldn't have minded, but the person straight up started chatting, making inside jokes, and completely ignoring that I was right there and just wanted to get an appointment. It felt very uncomfortable and rather rude. Lastly, the room had no ceiling lights. It was illuminated with small bedside lamps and a table lamp. There was also a seemingly broken floor lamp I didn't want to touch. So, unfortunately, without any daylight, the room was really dim.

Absolutely adored the breakfast options and the spa treatment that I got - a 50-minute body massage. The restaurant served delicious food, which was on the pricy side, but worth it. Most staff were superb. The room was clean, roomy, and had gorgeous big windows. The room had air conditioning, and the covers were just the right temperature for both me and my boyfriend, who prefer different warmth levels at night.
