Fantastic location, welcoming staff. The room was one of the most relaxing hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Having an outside space was amazing.

We received an upgrade to a king size garden room which was fabulous. The room was very elegant and cosy and the staff members are polite and professional. The hotel is within walking distance to all Leeds has to offer.

We loved everything.

Literally everything amazing experience, food and drinks was outstanding from the restaurant, the beds was absolutely amazing so comfortable we didn't want to leave. And an amazing breakfast in the morning. Staff was excellent at greeting us and giving us information we needed for our stay.

We requested two Prosecco glasses to be sent to the room as the bar was rather busy at the time to ask, the glasses sadly didn’t arrive..

Genuinely, there’s nothing from my experience making me hesitate in recommending The Dakota.

We’ve stayed a couple of times at the Dakota, and will definitely be back. What’s not to love? - Location is ideal, entrance either via Russell Street or Greek Street - Rooms are beautiful, luxurious, spotlessly clean - Fabulous showers, with Molten Brown products - Comfiest beds and pillows of any hotel I’ve stayed in - Coffee pod machine in room - Excellent quality breakfast (both continental and cooked to order) - Sunday dinner in the restaurant was divine! - Such friendly, professional hotel staff who really go the extra mile to make sure your stay is a joy - Cosy romantic hotel bar for a glam night cap - It bears mentioning, the hotel smells incredible - Discount parking available at The Light (the hotel provide you a code to use when pre-booking).

The breakfast experience was not great, the staff were very friendly but the service was very slow. The buffet part did not have much choice and various items had ran out.

If I was to be commuting by car, car parking would have been an issue but as on train did not cause an issue

The hotel was central, very clean, great atmosphere, perfumed room smell and decor, all staff met with where helpful and friendly and even though we only had a standard room due to a short visit, it was well laid out and had everything we needed. 11am check out good too

We went down for breakfast in the morning wearing our comfy clothes, I had a hoodie on. Everyone else wore business attire and most people in there were working. We were given a table right next to the buffet, so people kept knocking into us as they got their breakfasts. We were asked if we would like tea or coffee, which we ordered coffee. It never arrived. We were forgotten about. After watching the gentleman bring coffee to three other tables I had to go up and ask where ours was. Despite the fact that I’d hired the two best and most expensive rooms in the hotel, as I wasn’t in my suit I was judged, chucked into the corner and forgotten about.

THE BED WAS INCREDIBLE!!! Best sleep of my life. The decoration throughout the entire hotel was amazing. Such a fantastic atmosphere. We had a suite, room 502 and it was perfect.

I’ve wanted to try this hotel for a while and it exceeded my expectations. Stunning interiors inside and outside, staff fabulous and lovely choice of areas to sit and drink.The location is ideal, cliseti a good selection of bars and restaurants. I will definitely be returning and trying other Dakota Hotel locations.

A little too dark in the corridors. Not a problem for me but a bit disorienting perhaps for people without perfect vision or with early signs of dementia.

Friendly Porter when I arrived and left. Very clean and public areas smelt great.

No fridge or coffee machine in the room. For a more upmarket hotel I’d say this is a requirement nowadays, even in more basic rooms. I visited a few years ago and they had a lovely upstairs terrace bar which has unfortunately closed down. I really hope they reopen this as it provided a more exclusive setting for a drink after dinner.

Fantastic value for money for the quality of the room, the location, the upmarket feel. Very friendly and easy check-in too. Room was exceptionally clean and also spacious. They put a box of chocolates in the room for my birthday which was a nice touch.

We stayed in a signature suite for our wedding weekend and could not have been happier with the room and staff. The room was immaculate and well stocked, and the staff were courteous and made a huge effort over the two days. Fantastic experience.
