There were a couple of things that could’ve been improved: There wasn’t a lock on the inside of the toilet door, there’s a minimal amount of spacing between the toilet and the door but it feels like at any moment the door could swing open leaving you vulnerable and exposed, a lock would’ve been nice just for peace of mind. The only other thing is I noticed some minimal mould on the curtains in the bedroom but could be resolved very quickly as there wasn’t mould elsewhere.

The property was delightful, the hot tub was fantastic - it was already warmed up prior to arrival and the wood burner was cosy. My partner loved our trip away and there was also the pleasure of seeing sheep and a horse close by, with a lovely view of the Westbury white horse in the distance. The pub down the road on the right was devine, I recommend the buttermilk and fennel fried chicken as it was spectacular (we both agreed it was the best chicken we had ever tried).

Quirky and comfortable with excellent views and Mary was extremely helpful. Turn right out of the property and follow the road to the end and there is a lovely pub for dinner on the right hand side.

Cosy, cute and peaceful

It's very cosy and comfortable. The hot tub was lovely, nice to wind down from the day with a beer in hand. The location is more than ideal, it's right out in the sticks, but civilisation is only 10 minutes away.

If you don’t like bugs, it is definitely best to keep the windows of the hut closed!

The owner, Mary was so welcoming and friendly. The hut and shed were very well stocked with milk, tea, coffee, snacks and even a bottle of bucks fizz! It had everything we needed for a night away in the beautiful countryside. The hot tub was fantastic too and we enjoyed some drinks surrounded by fairy lights at night.

Dolly's was the perfect escape for a night away. We especially enjoyed the seclusion, the comfortable bed, and the hot tub!

Just perfectly located in peaceful surroundings. Not far from the main centres for supplies but far enough to have a peaceful break.

The hot tub was an added bonus. Loved the surrounding area and that we were by ourselves. The grounds of the house are beautiful.

Lovely peaceful location, surrounded by countryside and a view to the Westbury white horse. The hut was well kitted out, comfortable, and had firewood, BBQ coals and more available for a small fee. Mary was very friendly and welcoming, even checking in on us to make sure everything was ok and a message to say thanks even after we left.

The only thing that could of been better is the toilet situation, If it was turned 90 degrees it would be perfect or a curtain so the door could be open.

Unfortunately the hot tub that we paid for stopped working after two hours and we couldn’t actually spend much time in it as we had already had to wait for it to cool down as it was far too hot despite trying to drop the temperature from 40c we barely used the bubbles before it then presented an error code and stopped working. The bed was not comfortable and we barely slept. The toilet is not suitable for anyone taller than 5ft5, my partner is 6ft3 and couldn’t close the door once on the toilet, although this was funny!

The property was clean and in a lovely location, a great little get away.

We arrived at the hut at the stated check in time, however the hut wasn’t ready for us on arrival, it was still being cleaned. The hut was in a quiet and peaceful location, the main disappointment for us was on arrival we were told we had to pay cash only extra to use the hot tub, which was NOT stated on booking.com. We were shocked by this, and ended up not using the hot tub which was such a shame as I had booked this as a surprise for my husband’s birthday! Additionally, the bathroom was so small, when on the toilet you had to sit with your legs outside of the door! The bathroom hand towel was wet on arrival - yuk! Probably not changed from the previous guests!

The hut was in a nice and peaceful location.
