My room was tiny, the fire alarm went off and me and the other guests had to turn it off ourself, and the shared bathroom was not the cleanest. The Couple next door to me were extremely loud, however that is not the hotels fault.

I came with my dog, it was a very good price and the garden was good for my puppy to run around, the staff was lovely.

I don't like that for the kitchen you need to go out the shower water not in good temperature and the central heating is to slow for the cold weather.

The owner was very helpful in my days there.

The price of the room shouldn’t be that high. There was no bread , no egg for breakfast.

On five rooms there is only one bathroom/toilet. A separate toilet would have been welcome.

The staff were mean, the beds were hard, the lights didn't work, the curtains were hanging off, no breakfast, doors open all night and it smelled like fish! 🎣

Well decorated and clean. Free to come and go as you please. Lovely garden.

Would have been nice to have been told there was building work going on but didn't affect the quality of the stay. Fine to use as a base and lay your head down.

There had been some water incursion into the house with the ensuite room I was to have stayed in and there were builders and fixers working on the repairs, so I was accommodated in the adjoining property, where I shared a bathroom with another guest. This was unfortunate, but didn't bother me too much, as I was only staying the one night and had to leave at 6.15.

I had a nice clean comfortable room.

Building work was being done on the property. It would have been nice to have been told about this before I booked/arrived.

Rent only after reconstruction and prevent the stay of strangers.

House under renovation, hostess very nice, in the house a lot of Arabs and strangers, there is a large kitchen, small rooms with very old furniture and uncomfortable beds, unobtrusive doors, it is uncomfortable when you are surprised by a foreign person in the toilet, non-functional heating, use just to sleep in, but not to stay.

Someone (I actually suspect the owner) had a tv on ALL night which made sleeping difficult and frustrating. Also, when the owner realised we were staying just one night they changed my room - it turned out to be a room without an en-suite which was not what I had booked.

The carpet was really dirty in the room. Doors were very noisy, floorboards were creaking. Unfortunately there were others who did not consider other guests (loud music, slamming doors, singing) but this is obviosly not the property`s fault. Also, there was a very strong smell of weed.

Lady owner was very kind and helpful. The location was very good too. Good price. Nice bathroom. Good parking if available.

I did not like the shared bathroom, but that's my fault for booking it. The shower hose did not seem to work properly. Also, I was aware of all the other occupants – one who went around farting loudly. I got the impression it is popular with laborers (nothing wrong with that), but I only stayed for 2 nights. I felt as though I was staying with a family rather than a "business." I prefer the Travelodge approach, but that's just me!

The family that runs the B&B seemed friendly and the location was good access for Mill Hill Broadway – just a short drive down the A41. They had a kitchen area that could be used for making drinks, food, and with a large TV: I did not use it, but I'm sure others would like that.

I was put in a room and the opposite room had a tenant who was very noisy singing and playing music very loud throughout the night. Tte second night was better as the owner swapped my room and gave me a different room wherevi had a good night sleep.

Security wasn’t the best my door lock was broken also the doors are left open during the night for any intruder to come through woman was nice however very in formal!

During check-in we were asked to pay extra for "cleaning fee", despite the fact that the Booking ad specifies all fees included (besides, this is not an AirBnB! Even though it is a converted house). When I declined, I heard "how did I think I could get away with paying so little for a room around this area" (?! Then why would you advertise it at this price? Note - cheaper options are available in the area). I was also told that I should have called earlier that I want to arrive late - Booking specifies check-in available until midnight, we arrived at 23:30. So note that there is no front desk or reception here, just a living room. So the check-in process was weird and quite unpleasant.

Good location, parking is available. The room was clean; the bathroom was clean and equipped with basic amenities. Bear in mind that bathroom is shared. Room decor and beddings are quite old, but it was comfortable. I liked the selection of pillows available on the bed. Temperature inside the room was good and the street was quiet.

The carpet was filthy. The bathroom and guests' kitchen were chaotic. No towels in room though we had been told towels would be provided. Bedding was only a top and bottom sheet and one counterpane or blanket - not enough to keep warm at night.

Owner was polite. Bedding was clean. The price was attractive.
