There was a tiny stain on the sheet but nothing major.

The property was exceptional and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. I had asked for the staff to put up birthday banners on arrival for my others half’s birthday they went above and beyond and even gave her a birthday card and box of chocolates as well as the banners. The property was clean and very cute perfect for a romantic getaway. There was adequate facilities and the you had your own hot tub and garden facilities!

Loved it all.

Absolutely everything! Private parking, a short walk to the pods, the jacuzzi was already a light for us when we arrived. The unorthodox request I asked for was met 😂. The place was lit up at night with beautiful angel lights. Very quiet and comfortable. Contactless entry so there wasn’t any awkwardness after a long trip. It was just perfect! Very well maintained too! Me and the misses will absolutely be coming back in the summer!

Everything was amazing! Only small quark was the fact you can’t bring dogs but we understood the reasons why and it didnt take away from our trip (Nic the owner greeted us on our way out and was a lovley man with great energy.!

The hot-tub takes a bit of work to get to the right temperature with the wood burner (for the novices we are) and we did need to get more wood from the local garage. Instructions were clear but don't go expecting electric versions that regulate temperature and provide bubbles.

Lovely location - 1 of just 3 pods. Nice to relax without a TV or radio background.

Wouldn’t change a thing

The lodge was absolutely gorgeous, so tidy, clean and cosy. Lighting our own fire to heat the hot tub was fun and we sat in it everyday despite some of the cloudy weather! The bed was great, the cuddle couch was perfect, the water pressure in the shower was top notch and the mini kitchen was perfect for us to make a couple of big meals and some picnics. Thank you for decorating for my boyfriends birthday too. Check in was contactless and easy but they replied to any questions we had very fast. The location was great, if you need any inspo for what to do: we ran to the nearby village and got a coffee, drove to Bala to go on the steam train, went to Dysperth waterfall, and took a very windy stroll on Talacare beach to see the lighthouse.

There was nothing not to like. There was one cobweb in the pod above the door vent but hey, it’s glamping in and around nature what do you expect and that’s really stretching to find something to pick up on as it really didn’t bother us at all. We genuinely loved our stay.

The customer service was exceptional from the moment we booked to when we got home after check out. Nothing was too much trouble. They asked what time we would be checking in which meant the hot tub was at a perfect temperature on arrival. The book of local area information was really helpful and it also included useful information on how to drain, refill and heat the hot tub. The location was easy to find and only 10 minutes away from the local town with bars and restaurants. We will 100% be back and our friends even booked today for their get away in May as we couldn’t stop telling everyone about our beautiful, peaceful stay.

The pod could do with a run round with a feather duster, especially on the bunting, and some fresh flowers in the jar on the table. Other than that, we absolutely loved it. Thank you.

The only downside was that two nights was way too short a stay.

It has been about over a month since I visited the Ayr Pod at Emlyn’s Coppice, and I am still dreaming about returning to the most exquisitely peaceful stay surrounded by idyllic nature that I could have imagined in a camping pod. It was my idea of luxury - underfloor heating, en-suite, Japanese-style hot tub, private garden with a little pond inhabited by a proud moorhen. I reckon every angle has been covered, every eventuality prepared for - from a BBQ tool kit to natural eco-wood wool firelighters to get the wood burner and rotenburo lit with minimum effort. Our stay fell on my birthday, and there was some touching surprises awaiting my arrival, and that was even more icing on the camping cake. I can't wait to return.

Me and My Partner came to stay for the night and was made up with the pod. The pod was immaculate and had everything you needed even pots and pans. The bed was extremely comfy and the pod was pleasantly warm! Hot tub was brilliant and I love the folder with all the information about the town and things to do or to eat was lovely.

Sink plug was stuck so needs fixing

The cabin was secluded and cosy. The pretty lights from the car park to the cabins really set the scene. The hot tub was great and really appreciated that it was ready on arrival. Had everything you needed.

We loved our stay at Emlyn's Coppice. It was the perfect getaway from the stresses of a working week. The wood-fired hot-tub was brilliant. It take's some warming up, I would advise taking a few bags of dried kiln wood and kindling with you to keep the hot-tub warm throughout a full weekend break. You can walk to Talacre Beach in about 40 minutes via the public footpath which can be found directly opposite the entrance to Emlyn's Coppice. We stayed in the pod called Orme, which is the larger of the three pods. We will be back again!

My only issue was we didn’t stay longer.

We loved everything about this place, it’s so beautiful and peaceful. Everything was there that we needed and more. We had such a lovely cosy evening. Hot tub was a lovely added extra too. Excellent communication from the staff there.
