The house was very clean, silent and comfortable. You have everything you need in the kitchen so you can cook at home, there's a Lidl near the house and some restaurants. It's close to the bus stop and the Northern line

Absolutely nothing that I disliked.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Martin's apartment, and was completely satisfied with everything. The whole upper floor was neat and clean and well designed, the bedroom is spacious, and the bed was super comfortable, there is also a convenient desk and chair in the bedroom itself. Martin the host is a incredibly kind and friendly person, and I'm truly glad I picked this place for my 5 nights stay in London. Martin always communicated very well, and gave clear instructions for everything. As soon as I checked-in I straight away felt like at home, I especially appreciated the sense of privacy of knowing that the upper floor is for exclusive use for the guest booking it, + there is also a lock on the bedroom for added privacy, and of course the bathroom and kitchen on the upper floor is private, which although it's technically not a entire apartment for yourself, but rather the exclusive use of the upper floor at Martin's home while he is residing on the ground floor, but in fact it really felt like I had stayed at a entire private flat for myself.

As I arrived at around 23:00 parking was limited but one day I was working from home/this property I noticed in the day there are plenty. The layout of the space is a little different from how I thought but as mentioned above there is a lock for your bedroom for extra privacy, and I’m 100% sure Martin would never come upstairs unannounced and break that boundary. I was working from home one day and there wasn’t a desk, there is a pop-out table in the kitchen which could definitely be used but didn’t suit me at the time. I noticed the fridge and freezer weren’t working as well as it could have - I’m sure if I messaged Martin he would have sorted this without hesitation.

Even before I arrived the communication was excellent as I was due to check in at around 23:00 which Martin said was absolutely fine (he lives downstairs in a separate locked space) he was very attentive from when I first arrived, giving me privacy and space after showing around the space I had - and sending me a message to check I was happy with everything. The bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen were so clean and organised, it really did have everything you needed, he even had a phone charger with different adapters to suit your devices. The blind in the bedroom was a very good blackout allowing me to have a really restful night's sleep, in a lockable room for that extra layer of security. Comfortable bed, bathroom, and bedrooms are huge with plenty of space. It was lovely and warm! The area is great for restaurants and shops - a shopping center is about 15 min walk from the property with a takeaway and corner shop about 20 houses away. It was a lovely and quiet neighborhood with free residential parking.

We are sensitive to perfumes so simply placed an air freshener in a plastic bag replacing it when we left. Otherwise this place offered great value. Note that unit is up a flight of narrow steps. Not for anyone with mobility issues. Also bed is very firm (which we liked)

Loved how quiet it was on a side street. Window in bedroom opened for fresh air. It was located very close to a bus stop. If we chose to walk to The Tube it was a mere 15 minute walk. Kitchenette is small but we didn't need a lot of space to eat our breakfast before heading out for the day. Martin, our host, was incredibly friendly and helpful to us with suggestions and information to maximize our time in London and finding our way to surrounding areas.

I go to London very often for work or just to spend a weekend so I'm a regular customer of Airbnb or Booking.com... I must admit that this time I was really happy with the choice of the room. You have an entire floor of the house with a spacious room, a bathroom that is also spacious and a small kitchen with all the accessories you need! Super provided! Martin was spectacular with us, from our arrival until our departure, very helpful and very kind. My fiancée forgot an item in the room and he was super helpful and sent it back to us in Manchester! An absolute legend! Great room price for the area and perfect cleanliness of the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Free parking right outside the house. We will be back for sure at Martin's 🙂

In general, I really didn’t notice any thing unpleasant to report although some people say the location is not the ideal ones. However, if you are looking to explore London, I would recommend you to find another location because this place is far south London and it will cost you money to reach the centre of London.

We stayed for one night as part of a trip to see Wimbledon and the location was perfect for that. The accommodation was very comfortable and we had privacy in use of the floor with all the facilities we needed. The host could not have been more friendly and welcoming and helpful and thanks in particular to accommodating our late arrival. I would recommend without hesitation and great value.
