It was homely and comfortable and Mike and Sue were incredibly welcoming. The beds were wonderful and the room was warm. The breakfast was delicious!

Nothing really not to like, the parking wasn't really what I imagined, being on the side of the road and on a slope.

The location was very good, accessible for touring by car, the sea is in walking distance, as are eating and small local stores. Breakfast was good, given an adequate choice.

Mattress was maybe a little on the firm side for us but didn’t stop me sleeping and soon got used to it.

Was very clean. The owners very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Breakfast were nice! Great location for sight seeing base which is what we used it for.

There was nothing not to like! It's lovely and quiet, so getting a good rest was nice and easy and set us up for the days coastal walks.

Thank you so much. A delightful stay. Mike gave really excellent advice of where to go and when, which made our stay really magical. What beautiful cliff walks. Fern villa was beautifully clean, tasty generous breakfasts and all our needs were met to a really high degree. We loved the area and you helped us to explore it at its best. Thank you to Sue for Fern Villa being so beautifully clean and cooking the tasty breakfasts to order! We will be back!

Breakfast choice; bigger TV.

Could have slightly more choice at breakfast. Maybe different jams, sweetener on the table ( honey, cheese, ham; a selection of cereals?

Maybe a bigger TV in the room. Couldn’t really think of anything else it was all lovely!

Room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. I tried taking a photo of a fabulous rainbow that was over Fern Villa but photo doesn’t do it justice.

It wasn't in Fishguard, but about 25 mins walk from the centre. Slightly longer, but more pleasant to take the Marine Walk around the headland. Four guest rooms around a first floor landing, so you could hear other guests in their rooms. But I put ear plugs in so that wasn't a problem.

The location was very quiet. The hosts were friendly and gave me some good advice on places to visit. Nice breakfast.

I like the fact the house was nice and quiet. Other guests were also very nice, and the hosts were very pleasant. My room was spacious and so was my bathroom! Thank you!

Bed was a little small and check in time a bit late (4.30 ). But it didn’t really bother us.

Only one suggestion: For older guests or those with disabilities, a stability bar just outside or inside the shower would help getting in/out of the shower safely.

Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. Mike and Sue are outstanding hosts, most attentive and engaging. Mike provided great suggestions for dinner. As we were getting into our car to leave, Sue had already checked our room and came running out of the house with possessions we had mistakenly left behind. Much appreciated!

service of the room mid stay a bit casual- expected bin to be emptied & water changed, also no tea spoons. at times it felt like hosts were trying to economise some biscuits & herb tea bags would have been nice.

Having to choose a certain time for breakfast was a little restrictive but I understand why it was necessary given the limited kitchen and dining capacity.

Mike and Sue were very welcoming and friendly. They were full of local information about sights and activities. My room had a certain old world charm in keeping with the house but with all the necessary mod. cons.
