Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWould recommend keeping the plug in the bathroom sink closed as twice we had a large spider come out of the plug... that's glamping for you! Would've preferred bath sheets rather than standard bath towels as well as they are quite small. Also could do with having some tongs for when cooking as utensils are limited.
Perfect location to go to Zipworld Tower and hikes nearby. We stayed in pod 3 which was very cosy, but still spacious. Pen Pych waterfall is not far away and is a nice walk. Bed was comfy. Ideal space for a long weekend for a couple!

United KingdomThere are steps (about 20) to the property - possibly an issue if mobility is limited No storage space for clothes - if you are happy to live out of your suitcase/rucksack/overnight bag then there is plenty of stowage space under the bed. Smart TV occasionally lost wi-fi signal. Box of wood, firelighters and matches available for £5 The views from the pod are 'industrial' - not unsurprising for a former coal mining area.
The pod felt spacious and there were two comfortable armchairs to relax in. The on-suite bathroom was surprisingly roomy and the small kitchenette was adequate (microwave, toaster, plug-in hob, sink though no drainer) for short stays. Wi-Fi speeds were OK (5 Mbps) for general use. Plenty of hot water and the central heating kept everything cosy. Decent sized smart TV. Prosecco and Welsh Cakes a nice touch. If the weather had been warmer and drier, we would have happily sat out on the porch in the evening with a log fire. The views from the pod are 'industrial' - not unsurprising for a former coal mining area.

United KingdomEasy to find but some signs off the road leading up to the car park to confirm you're in the right place would be welcomed. Other than that, it was great.
Generous welcome hamper on arrival. The pod was cosy and well equipped and had a fab view. Ideal for a night or two away.

United KingdomNot much, and very picky, but I didn't like that the neighboring cabin people would walk directly in front of ours as a short cut. It made it feel less secluded and private. But again, that is down to who was staying there and not the place.
Waking up to that view was insane!! Absolutely loved every moment of staying there, just wish I could have stayed for longer than a night. Perfect location, very quite and peaceful, provided with all the necessities. Cannot describe how dreamy it was to be there. Never wanted to leave!

United Kingdomthe bed was quite uncomfortable. the pillows were too high and the springs had burst. that was the singular only thing that could have been improved though. not a single other fault.
the view is gorgeous, the room was so cosy and beautiful, they thought of EVERYTHING. it had hot running water immediately, the bed was in the corner and all cosy and cute, very clean, little welcome bottle of wine! honestly cant fault it. self check in was seamless. honestly the perfect get away for a couple.

United Kingdom1) The mattress is just awful. We stayed for 2days and went around hiking, caving, basically touring the area and the last thing our knackered bodies want coming back to the cabin is a horrible mattress. Other guests have raised this but the property doesn’t seem to act on it yet. We stayed in Pod 3, by the way. 2) There were teenagers blasting loud music with their speakers on our second night stay, disturbing the ‘peace’ we’ve been craving for. There was no gate to the property so people are free to come in. They were there for only 10-15mins though so we didn’t bother reporting it. 3) The path leading to the waterfall is a bit overgrown. Most of it are very narrow that I nearly fell. I’m not sure if it’s part of the property but some warnings and signages leading to the waterfall would be great help.
1) The scenery is just magnificent. The location is near ZipWorld, Brecon Beacons and Show Caves so it’s very accessible. 2) Most kitchen utensils were present. We have a small fridge, toaster, single electric hob, kettle and microwave. We also have a pot, pan, cutleries, etc. It was well-thought. I was able to cook breakfast with these.

United KingdomThe bed, (Pod 1) which wins first prize for the worst bed I've ever slept on. It was ancient, had no padding, all you could feel were uneven springs. I think it would have defeated a hardened fakir. I only survived it because I took a self inflating camping mat along with me. A lack of storage/somewhere to hang things up/no bathroom shelf to place toiletries on. Access to the pod - I hadn't realised that the pods were reached by a flight of steps and crossing large cobbles, but if you are able bodied this wouldn't be a problem. The alternative is to drive up the slope to the pods but there isn't much space to turn your vehicle round and it gets very muddy.
The location in a disused colliery which is being developed into a farm. Glorious mountain views, peaceful, handy for local facilities. Many beautiful places nearby to picnic and walk, and several towns. Local buses and trains nearby (but at the time of my stay the rail line was being worked on so no trains available which was disappointing as it created a lot of unexpected extra driving). The pod was clean, comfortable, compact and cosy, plenty of hot water and had enough basic equipment to prepare meals. The developing individual hedged lawns to the front of each pod.
