The room was clean, comfortable and furnished to a high standard. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a real treat - better than a lot of hotels we have stayed at. The location was quiet and calm, with a view of a donkey out of the bedroom and breakfast room windows - who wouldn't want that (OK, maybe that is just me!)?

Vance and David were excellent hosts. The room had everything in it you could want. It was well decorated and very clean. Good views over the countryside including tier horses and donkey. Breakfast was amazing , with lots of choice and an really good Full English cooked by David. We would highly recommend them if you need to stay in this area

Absolutely blown away by this place. Stunning location, with equally stunning views. Exceptionally clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Hosts Vance & David were superb and nothing was too much trouble. Bed super comfortable. Shower was fabulous. Breakfast was delicious with lovely locally sourced ingredients. Pure perfection

Bed was very hard but that's just my personal preference to have a softer mattress.

Location was ideal for the Xmas show at Thursford . Vance and Dave were excellent hosts . Room was very nice and clean with excellent views across the fields and the breakfast was great !

One room is a bit cosy for two people but fine for an overnight stay.

This property is in a beautiful, rural location with lovely views. The owners are welcoming and friendly and have excellent local knowledge. The rooms are spotlessly clean and linens and towels in particular, are of good quality. One room is larger than the other, but both are tastefully decorated and furnished. There is a lot of attention to detail with tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, a few snacks and drinking water. Breakfast is outstanding with a great selection of items and delicious locally sourced food. The breakfast area overlooks the rear of the property which has a panoramic outlook.

There wasn’t a bathtub but this wasn’t a dealbreaker for me as the shower itself was really good!

What can I say? David and Vance are amazing hosts! Their beautiful B&B is located in gorgeous country side, the rooms are to a very high quality with lovely little details such as fresh flowers. The bed was so comfy and we all slept very well. The whole property is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast options are fabulous, the cooked breakfast was delicious using local fresh products. They were even kind enough to post my wife’s earrings which we forgot. I really cannot faut the experience at all and I would highly recommend a visit, me and my family will be back!

It was excellent! I had a lovely room with a great view over the farm. The owners were amazing and went out of their way to make my stay great. The breakfast was excellent. My only regret is I didn’t get to spend more time there. Highly recommended!

Our facilities were beautifully presented and clean but the bed base took up too much space in a small room so that's a fraction off perfection.

Wonderful welcome on arrival and level of care for our comfort could not have been higher throughout the stay. We absolutely loved meeting Vance and David, they're friendly, considerate and run a beautiful guesthouse. The breakfast layout, choices on offer and cooked food were very well presented.

In a delightful place like this with extremely pleasant hosts and superior accommodation and food it's hard to think of anything negative.

It was very good. The breakfast room had a nice view of the acreage nearby. The hosts were charming. It catered well to one member of our party who is vegetarian

Breakfast between 8-9 which was a little early in hindsight, maybe between 9-10am would be better to allow a lay-in. However, the early start meant we could explore the surrounding area earlier.

Vance was really helpful taking our bags up to the room for us and David made us a lovely vegetarian breakfast which was super delicious. Room was modern and to a good standard. Carparking outside was also very convenient. Would stay there again.

The delicious breakfast including the spectacular view while we ate, the bathroom had a large shower area and soft, fluffy towels, the tea and coffee making facilities were exceptional with lots of extras and fresh milk. Hosts were very attentive and we would love to return in the future
