Beautiful location, so lovely tobe surrounded by the animals. The lodge was warm and very comfortable. Cat the owner was definitely very friendly welcoming and amenable to all our needs.

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago during the Easter holidays and we couldn’t fault the property. The lodge is situated on a working farm and we were greeted by the friendly Dalmatian’s (who our daughters just adored). There were lots of animals around the lodge to keep us entertained and even when it was raining, we could still see the goats and sheep from our window! The lodge was perfect for us staying as a family of 4 and had a lovely, cosy welcoming vibe. The fresh eggs were a lovely touch and we loved having the hot tub to relax. The lodge even had some board games to keep us entertained and as it pass a few rainy hours. The host, Cat was so welcoming and friendly and always had time to chat even though she was mega busy tending to all of the animals (especially all of the new lambs). A particular highlight for us was the farm tour where our daughters had the privilege of feeding one of the new born lambs.

We loved our stay, the whole family had a lovely time. The kids adored the animals and how much free rein Cat gave them to explore (able to go in with the goats, play with the dogs and pat the horses). The lodge was spotlessly clean and i found the bed really comfy. Cat was the best host, she had loads of time for us even though she was really busy working the farm herself; spent lots of time talking to us about the animals and answering a million questions. It was much appreciated. All in would recommend. For us, the animal interactions were a highlight but if that’s not your thing, this is still a great place to visit. Very beautiful and tranquil. Hot tub was lovely, WiFi signal was great. No complaints at all and the kids are asking to return! P.s. we want a Dalmatian now 😀

The accommodation. How safe it was. You could walk around and see the animals and walk down to the river. Host was very helpful professional and friendly.

This was lovely weekend trip. The lodge was beautiful and comfortable and equipped with everything you would need. The hot tub was amazing. Cat was such wonderful host and all the animals were very friendly and you could walk around the farm and talk to them all and get some animal therapy.

What a beautiful place!. Surrounded by the most amazing views and animals. The lodge had everything needed for a relaxing weekend. The hot tub was an added bonus, watching the night sky was magical.

This was a beautiful lodge in a beautiful farm setting! Cat was a brilliant host, and it was amazing getting to meet the farm animals and dogs. We had a great time here, and the hot tub was brilliant. We also got to see amazing stars and even Jupiter! Will definitely be back.

The lodge was so lovely and cosy but with plenty of space for all 6 of us. Cat was very flexible with our arrival time which was very appreciated, and then when we met her the next day she very kindly gave us a tour of the farm which was amazing! She knows so much about each animal and it was so interesting to hear her story and give the animals lots of pets! The hot tub was absolutely lovely and the lodge was well equipped with cooking equipment too. We had bad weather but we still loved looking around the farm and we all found the stay very relaxing and a nice way for old friends to get together again.

We loved everything!!!!! There’s wasn’t anything we DIDNT like!

Well I don’t even know where to begin with our HUGE list of likes about the property and the amazing people we encountered within it! Firstly the accommodation was beautiful so lovely decorated, clean, so much space for us all (family of 5)! The views surrounding were just BEAUTIFUL! The farm it’s self was so amazing. The kids had the best time exploring hanging out with all the animals and learning about each one! (I highly recommend the farm experiences! We did the farm tour, bottle feeding and the pony pampers!) they were amazing! Our hosts (Cat & Ellie) we’re out of this world! From the very first message I sent Cat was so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them (even with all three kids following them/finding them around the farm constantly) we had the best time truly. Best place I’ve stayed in a very long time!!!!

Honestly, couldnt fault anything. Place was amazing. If I was being picky, it would be the drive down to the farm. The road is bumpy and some holes, but all this is stated and doesnt actually affect anything.

Place was great, lovely location. Not to far from amenities but far enough to be very quiet. Farm and animals where amazing. Even get visits at your door from the goats at dinner time! Cat takes the time to welcome you and if you need her she is on hand.

We had an amazing time with my family. The Farm is located in a picturesque village with nice views. The property is super cosy and clean, and each detail reflects the idea of the farm. Cat and her family (and by family I mean animals as well) make you feel like home, being surrounded by animals who had such a tough life before Cat rescued them, each animal has it’s story with a happy end. I recommend this experience to everyone especially to those with kids. my daughter had such a good time and we plan to come back definitely. Thank you Cat for welcoming and what you are doing inspiring everyone. Hot tub was a nice addition. all was fabulous

Relaxing break with the kids. Cat made us very welcome and was so patient answering the kids questions about the animals. They loved their cuddles with the sheep, dogs and cat. just home from our stay and the kids are already asking when we can go back, my son said it’s the best holiday he’s had, and now has a Dalmatian dog on his Santa list lol would highly recommend to anyone with a family who love the outdoors and animals. cat is amazing at what she does and was always happy to stop and chat and let the kids get involved with the animals, lodge was very homely , had everything we needed,
