Double bed was two twins pushed together. The mattresses were quite soft & sloped from where they met to the edge. Wasn't very comfortable. The hotel's car park is tiny and no spaces were available during our stay. But the main car park in the village was just over the road and it only cost £1 per car to park there overnight (6pm to 8am).

Staff were very helpful. Came to clean the bathroom when we found wee on the toilet seat and head hairs in the sink. Also helped my other half set up a birthday surprise for me. Hotel was in a great location in the village and for exploring the area.

Very little engagement with staff, polite more than friendly and certainly didn’t have a warmth when checking in. Young girl on reception did her job as did bar staff but certainly not with a smile. Breakfast was good but my daughter only wanted a bowl of cereal but we were told ‘fine but still one price of £12.99’!! Didn’t find staff accommodating on a couple of occasions. Jude in the restaurant was fab. Helpful funny and so friendly she perhaps should do some training!!

Beautiful hotel - modern and tasteful. Room was just a standard double but beautifully decorated and very clean. Bar area stunning and comfortable. Breakfast was very reasonable and cooked beautifully.

We had excellent service and support on arrival especially in offering to help with transport to a wedding. The room was a good size, had clean facilities and access to tea/coffee. Very quiet and peaceful.

The hotel restaurant, quite pricey for what it was but it’s mostly likely on line with how touristy the area is. It was expected to an extent. However, the place was still a bit self service and they give you impossible packets to open for sauces 😂 as well but the atmosphere was fantastic and they accepted dogs in the bar area which was superb.

Very impressed! A lot of places are 'dog tolerant' but claim to be dog friendly - but this place actually is totally dog friendly!! They made us feel very welcome, the doggos got a welcome pack and the staff were so friendly. The rooms were very clean, lovely modern bathrooms and they didn't hide us on the bottom floor because we had dogs, we were on the top floor! Fully enjoyed our stay, friendly staff, great rooms, perfect location, such a great place! Highly recommend :)

Parking a little tight at times but manageable. Also while I have no problem with dogs in the hotel I would prefer that they weren't allowed on the sofas in the bar area. Other than that we had a great stay, highly recommend it.

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Room very comfortable and location is perfect with easy access to all local amenities as well as walks etc. Bar food was very good, Bar area very comfortable and nicely decorated. Only an hour from ferry terminal at Holyhead which was great. Will definitely be back to stay. Local area is amazingly beautiful and we were lucky that the sun shone on both days.

Not a great continental choice at breakfast. Croissants, pastries etc. But really looking for negatives that are not there!

Rooms were recently refurbished so absolutely on point. Great shower and bath. Great water pressure and lots of hot water. The bar area was comfortable and well furnished with a great atmosphere when it was busy. The staff were always polite and welcoming and very helpful. Our room was cleaned every day and tea coffee biscuits replenished. A great break away and we will be back. Keep it up guys. Thank you.

We were in an older room that hadnt been renovated as yet. The main bed was very noisy when you turned in your sleep which meant we had to put a towel behind the headboard to stop the noisy.

Parking was a challenge - not the Hotel’s problem but more a patron problem as cars were parked inconsiderately for other vehicles trying to access the carpark. We were able to park in it on the final night of our stay; the next morning a car had parked across most of the car park, blocking cars in. Luckily we weren’t affected as we had to get away early.

Lights were always on full in the bar and lounge area which made it feel less cosy and intimate.

I loved how accommodating they were to our dog. The dog friendly atmosphere made for a relaxing stay for us!
