Lack of staff in the bar in the evening. Only one guy and he was dealing with room service requests as well, so no-one staffing bar. Had to go into kitchen to find someone There was no-one on reception either, at that time Breakfast was really lovely, but I thought TOO expensive Lift was hard work to operate

Lack of control when it came to children in Certain leisure facilities. And especially after 8pm...lift out of action. Breakfast time was frantic, not enough hot drink machines for number of guests

Overpriced for the room. No fridge in room. The one thing I really did not like was that noone supervised the spa/swimming pool. Changing rooms were full and at times not clean. Swimming pool was so crowded, could not swim, children as young as 5 were in the sauna, steam room and hot tub, children running wild and not supervised by parents. Trying to relax in the 60* sauna with children present is impossible. I'm sure these facilities are for 16 and above?! They are in any other spa I have been in. Also really didn't like that boys as old as 10 and 13 and as tall as me were in the female changing room with while I was in there with my 8 year old daughter. Completely inappropriate, my daughter would not change while they were in there. The spa and pool definitely need to be managed better.

Bedside shelf was broken Dark Hairs in Bath.. defo not ours, I'm platinum, the man is bald. Duvets very thin but staff helped get another one. Food very expensive. TV very limited, put kettle on an channel goes black... Couldn't add our hard drive to TV.

Staff are wonderful Hotel was easy to find and access anytime of day. Bed was comfortable Lots of space in room Staff helped to have another duvet as was cold. Spa facilities were great but bit small for amount of people in at once.

We had a man who worked there kept trying to come into our room while we was trying to sleep. Very persistent with knocking on our door at 8 in the morning

The machine that dried swimming costumes was not available as broken. If I had known I would have brought a carrier bag to put my wet costume in.

Having checked that room service was 24 hours, we went to order on returning from a concert, to find there was no room service. We messaged the desk and manager through the app from the QR code and could get a reply.

Fantastic location, clean, very up to date, friendly staff, will definitely stay here next time I'm in Cardiff.

The pool was being used as a training pool for lots of children at the time I was there. I could not use the pool. There was no spa as advertised 🫢

Pool - excellent Room and location good I would have liked an entrance at the front for this without a car so wouldn’t have had to walk through the car park and around the whole building to access. I guess it was car friendly but I didn’t have a car.

it would be great if the gym could open earlier than 7am. For those travelling for work, the 7am timeslot is too late and would be great if this facility could open at 6am or even 6:30am.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. There was a mix up with the rooms when we arrived, mistakes happen though and we were given free drinks. The air con didn’t work on our room, unless it was me not be able to work it, but we did have a large fan which did the job. The fridge didn’t work either, that would have been handy as it was so hot, but again it wasn’t the end of the world. Overall we enjoyed very much.

Brilliant location, the bar / restaurant area was lovely and the breakfast was fantastic! What a lovely selection if food to cater all. The pool was a huge hit with my children and our room was a good size and comfortable.

Car park is not free as shown when booking, had to pay £30 for my car just for three nights on top of my booking.

The room is lovely and spacious especially for families. The cleanliness is very good and the facilities are very well kept. Very accessible for people with young children and just overall a very good place to stay.

At 8am there was Drilling and banging which seemed to have been dealt with after complaining. Also bathroom was a little run down but nothing to complain about.

Location was ok, about a 10 minute walk into central Cardiff.
