We loved everything about our stay! Sean was super welcoming and lovely. The lodge was spotless and very spacious! The added touches of tea and coffee were fab. We loved how peaceful our stay was, we definitely feel refreshed. We are already planning our next visit before our baby arrives in September!!!! Thank you very much Sean and Scott.

There was nothing that we didn’t like. Highly recommend

It was lovely and peaceful, great scenery, very cosy and we enjoyed every minute of it! The BBQ hut was a highlight and we loved having our own stone fire pit.

Wifi was available to use but for location phone signal was good enuff. Really enjoyed our stay staff was very polite and welcoming. It's very peaceful environment had such a relaxing weekend its build to your comfort as it was so cosy inside to just relax

We absolutely loved it here - it was far away enough from the hustle and bustle of 'normal' life, but close enough to shops if we needed them. The nature around High Parks is stunning and we were in awe of the 360° views both inside and outside of our cabin. Being able to sit in front of the fire pit and hear owls hooting in the distance was just a magical and very special experience for us both. We adored it here to say the least!

Loved everything nothing we did not like

Absolutely everything, went for a break and peace and it’s exactly what we got, we got a text after booking in for local places which was very kind, just all round perfect great for any age as well! We are 19 and 22 and loved everything about the place

Such an amazing place. We loved our stay here. Very comfortable and the hosts were fantastic. Everything was thought of and we couldn't ask for more. The bbq hut was fantastic and we were lucky to have it to ourselves both nights.

Can't even complain about this as it seems petty but if you could improve it would be 2 small things. Some sort of sink even just outside the cabin would be great, also each cabin to have their own 2 ring camping cooker burner or a air fryer but again we came prepared so it didn't affect us but improving the experience is very minimal

Beautiful location, the log cabin was absolutely fantastic and we was sorry to leave. We was actually saying as a couple we could easily live in this property. The beds was so company, radiators work well to keep it warm and cosy Shower room is a bonus. Board games, Dad etc was added bonus So much room yet totally cosy set up. Would deffo come again

The only thing was the amount of mud only due to the bad weather the wood cuttings that would usually be on the path had obviously gone due to the heavy rainfalls so we brought in quite abit of mood on our shoes to the doorway.

The cabin we stayed in was immaculate the views were amazing and everything was a 10 minute drive from the location itself, overall the surrounding area of this property was beautifully maintained.

Everything about the place was amazing, really recommend for anyone who wants to get away for a couple days and spend a lovely time with your partner. Plan on returning with family next time

We loved everything about this place! We came to reset and recharge and this was exactly what we did here. The cabin was in the most perfect woodland setting, it was quiet, peaceful and romantic. The cabin was surprisingly spacious, clean and the bed was so comfy! We had everything we needed and more. Scott was so informative and helpful and made sure everything was ready for our stay including the cabin being lovely and warm and lit for our arrival. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. We booked the fire hut for our second nights stay which was perfect. All tools for grilling were included. On our last day it snowed which made it feel even more magical. There are lots of lovely pubs nearby and a great butchers which were recommended by Scott. We can’t wait to come back next year and we’re sad to leave! Thank You for having us ❄️🎄✨

The family run lodges were perfect - clean, tidy and well looked after. Situated nice and central to some gorgeous little towns - with lovely food. Will definitely book another stay in the summer.

Warm greeting, lovely hosts Cosy lodge, comfy king-size bed. Ample heating The bookable Bbq hut was a real highlight just take your own food everything else provided. Logs and kindling to purchase for the firepit outside. Heated towel rail, dvds, games books. Nespresso machine. Thoughtful things like milk in the fridge, tea,,a couple of chocolates, a vase of fresh wild flowers.View when making a cup of tea was beautiful. Location close enough to drive to parks, and towns.All was really fabulous, we had an amazing stay.
