The price for the location and standard of hotel and amenities was a little toppy and didn't feel value for money but pros outweighed cons.

Dog friendly and convenient location just off motorway. Location was chosen due to proximity to friends who lived in area. Had a spa we couldn't use but which looked good and big bar area. Liked the fresh baked cookie on arrival and puppy was made a fuss of.

Room was a bit ‘tired’, no bottles of drinking water in room whereas others did have them.

Heating did not work in the room. Was given to us portable heaters but it was still cold in the night.

Very close to Bristol City Centre. Had the features of city hotel like restaurant , pool etc

The room was looking very tired. The furniture had marks, dents and scratches that had been made good at some point but were now very worse for wear, including the headboard which was old and dirty. The linen was more off-white and old. The walls were also very thin so I could hear the people in the next room.

The hotel was very easy to get to and there's a large car park, just remember to register as soon as you arrive at Reception. Room was a good size and a little treat of chocolate was waiting with a personalised message. Breakfast was substantial with lots of choices. As a single traveller I felt safe and the staff were very friendly.

Because we checked in just over an hour early we missed out on the fresh cookies on arrival. Pity we weren’t told to come and collect them at 3pm because I gather they were really nice.

The bed was too low to the ground. People with mobility problems may find this challenging . Parking charge unreasonable as it’s in the middle in nowhere so people don’t have the need to park there without permission

We enjoyed our stay our only problem was we were charged for breakfast which we didn’t have I have asked for a refund on numerous occasions by email, but as yet we have not had a refund, this has spoiled our experience of the hotel.

Our room was not cleaned and our towels were not changed. We had to ring room service to bring new towels. This was a little disappointing. The toilet didn’t flush well. The bath tub had old stains.

Beautiful hotel, welcoming staff, spacious bedroom, comfortable, big tv and AC/Heating were easy to control. I loved the breakfast. I loved the fact that the bar opens until 11pm weekends. I just wish I had the time to use the spa facilities.

Pool changing area.. Showers outdated and had bad drain smell. Shower when pressed went off after only a few seconds had to keep hand on all time for a decent flow.

Stupidly overpriced, food was mediocre.. 20 quid for breakfast which was of a low standard.. I didn’t eat mine and went to the food truck across the road which was great
