Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Clean rooms, welcoming staff, interesting decor and a wonderful selection of food and drink. We all appreciated the exquisitely soft housecoats and towels.

JerseyCoffee, tea and water was complimentary, however as I could drink the milk in the room I requested oat or soya milk that I could collect from the restaurant/ breakfast room. I was disappointed that the lady I spoke to suggested a surcharge. It was agreed that it could be complimentary when I spoke to someone else at reception. I was pleased this was resolved.
The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was just the right temperature, spacious and spotless.

United KingdomThe location is not the best. 15 minute walk to either London Bridge or Waterloo station. Not bad for getting steps in but can make it difficult to do last minute plans as it takes a while to get to a station.
The hotel is very clean and modern. Everything looks new and looked after. The staff are very nice. Would stay here again for sure.

United KingdomThe lifts could do with a little enhancement, they just feel a little aged. The bed/mattress(?) was incredibly squeaky and would have been nice if this was sorted.
Staff were amazing, friendly welcoming and very attentive. The hotel is gorgeous and love finding all the foxes dotted around the place!!

United KingdomI was surprised that there was no coffee machine in the room, most 4 and 5 star hotels have these. On one occasion I asked for fresh towels that never turned up.
Our room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, we slept well. The bathroom was beautiful as was the shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole feel of the hotel was very nice. Breakfast was very tasty. We had a lovely plate with a cake and congratulations written on it for our wedding anniversary which really was the cherry on top of our stay.

The staff were very friendly at all times of day. We received a welcome soft toy fox the first night, play pack and the use of fox blanket - that we had to buy as my daughter fell in love with it. The swimming pool facilities were excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Housekeeping came every evening to do a turn down service / need anymore towels. Marcel was very friendly welcoming us on arrival and every day through our stay. Mitchell was equally friendly to me and my daughter. I have already recommended the hotel to friends & family. Prefect location next to the tube to get around.
