Lifts smell really bad. The restaurant isn’t great. We had dinner there the first night, chicken wings were shop bought frozen wings. Beef burger was very average and not a whole lot of taste. Tiny tiny whiskey shot for a full price, it was barely 20ml. Bathroom was okay but very claustrophobic, feels like a tiny time capsule / train bathroom.

Location is great. Staff is friendly and welcoming. It was clean enough. Bed was comfortable.

Have visited the Ibis before and love everything about it. I take a few days break here every year and have never been disappointed. Friendly smiling staff on arrival check in quick and easy room always ready fresh and clean. Breakfast plentiful with a great selection for everyone.

The evening meal was pretty poor and appeared to have been prepared by the reception staff, not a chef. Breakfast was fine.

The room looked and felt modern and up to date. The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable.

Lobby and restrooms were dirty when we arrived on Monday morning. Room was clean, but bathroom door didn't open easily. So, we were moved to another room.

The view of the harbor was great! Room & beds were comfortable. Bathroom had good counter space and shower. They stored our luggage until check-in time.

There were no sockets near the bed, the only sockets were at the opposite side of the room. The bathroom solution is questionable - the bathroom cabin seems out of place and takes a quarter of the room.

Location is good, staff is friendly. Room had a strong heater.

A woman was hanging about the entrance to the hotel & got in the lift with us. She was badly under the influence of something as she was slurring her words. When we returned 5 hours later, she was still hanging about.Other guests were looking at her also. It's not a good look for the hotel, with her hanging about outside with people smoking with her. She seemed to know people in the hotel. The guy on the desk was good, but he didn't see her going into the lift as he was with other customers checking them in. It has put me off booking again & we stay at Ibis hotels all over. Just enjoyed a week in Geneva Ibis.

While comfortable, rooms were basic and as a “picky” person, little things bugged me - toilet had to be double flushed to clear, sink didn’t drain particularly well, dirt buildup along crease of wet wall to floor within shower.. other guests in our group (15 in total) were satisfied so it could just be my luck and fussiness. Didn’t put a dampener on my stay, just slightly inconvenient.

Located in the center (5 min walk from airport bus, 10 min from trainbstation) with pubs, restaurants and shops nearby. Clean place, friendly staff, bar/reception open until late (or 24h, not sure).
