It was not possible to see out of the room and there was no window to open to cool the room when it got warm.

The location was excellent. Easy walking distance into the centre of Chester. Staff were very helpful. Very modern and clean.

The location of the hotel is central to all amenities. A beautiful park is just across from the hotel. The staff are all helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough to help if you required anything. Lovely breakfast with a choice of continental or cooked breakfast, or both if you feel like it. Bedroom nice, bright and comfortable.Fridge in room which is topped up daily with complimentary soft drinks and milk for tea and coffee.

There is no parking on the property, so we had to find the parking lot about 3 blocks away as a bird flies, but with many one way streets, it is a challenge finding the parking lot! The hotel is outside of the walled city, about a 7 minute walk.

The breakfast was served in their restaurant which is lovely. One orders from a menu and gets served, no buffet except for fruit, juice and toast. The rooms are spacious and our bathroom was particularly lovely, especially the walk in shower.

Although the staff were friendly and very attentive there weren’t enough of them for breakfast. We arrived at 9.30am as per our slot and taken to our table and said they would be back in 5 minutes to take the hot meal order. After 20 minutes I had to find someone to take the order. So our full English breakfasts arrived at approximately 10.15am. On the meantime the buffet needed replenishing too so it wasn’t ideal. This seemed to be happening to many others too and a lot of apologies from staff could be heard as well as complaints from guests. We could see it was busy but it was chaotic and surely the hotel knows beforehand how many people are eating breakfast as well as the time slots. So definitely understaffed and we felt for them having to take a lot of flak.

Breakfast delicious - varied choice of hot and cold. Coffee was great, service great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location ideal and parking couldn't have been simpler - the hotel has a good set up with local car park which made it easy to use and cost effective. The bar/lounge area is a pleasant place to sit and have a drink. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but it appeared popular. The hotel itself is located near to many restaurants etc. Rooms very comfortable, clean and stocked daily with complementary soft drinks which was lovely.

The room was too small to fit the two double beds and therefore made it very difficult to open fridge and cupboards. The light switches are confusing

The breakfast was poor, took ages to come and was not warm and was not good quality, definitely not worth the cost.

Large room, very clean and nice, quiet room. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. Located on the 2nd floor near the lift but the lift didnt keep us awake now.
