Breakfast was a disaster. 20 mins for order to be taken. 40 mins for it to arrive. Staff rushing around, looking very disorganised and flustered. Very basic when it did. Had better in a Premier Inn!

Only distance to the car park. Everything else was perfect.

Booked this hotel without knowing much about it but it was wonderful. Great location for the city centre, wonderful breakfast and helpful staff. The only issue is how far away the car park is but this is nothing that can be helped from the hotel, it is just the location. Will definitely be back.

Doesn’t have its own carpark lets it down, but does have one within 5minute walk.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now and both occasions the hotel has been excellent. Staff are really friendly and attentive, hotel is great location and within a 2 minute walk into city centre for all shops/bars. Hotel facilities are excellent, very clean, has a cosy feel atmosphere bar to unwind in. Morning breakfast is very good and all cooked fresh to order with a great continental selection.

There was absolutely nothing I did not like.

It is a lovely hotel. Not like the usual corporate chain hotel. Beautifully appointed, fantastic facilities and the staff were so obliging. My wife and I were in Chester to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the staff treated us like royalty, they even upgraded us to a suite with a balcony. We had breakfast there and that was excellent too. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Stylish, clean, comfortable, great location, staff went above and beyond. Our room wasn’t ready as we arrived early so we left our luggage to explore and when we arrived back our luggage had been taken up to our room and we don’t travel light!! Also, they noticed it was my girlfriends birthday and left a happy birthday card and free drink voucher in the room too

Did not like the cooked breakfast, not a problem though the continental breakfast was fine. Coffee and green tea not to my liking but unlike other hotels there was freshly squeezed orange juice.

Location was excellent, within walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. Staff were amazing, very friendly and would go out of their way to help in anyway they could.

Small issues with cleanliness and noise, which is a shame because we loved everything else. There was some sort of machinery humming away through the night, which seemed to be coming from outside and below the room and was distractingly loud at times. I was surprised to find build ups of dust in the bedroom and dirt between the bathroom floor tiles (which I had thought was the colour of the grout, until it came away when I wiped up some water). The lighting in the room was a bit confusing, with multiple lights controlled by one switch and then a Master Switch to override it all. There was lots of trial and error trying to figure out which switches gave us the best lighting.

Gorgeous hotel with themed rooms decorated to a high standard. In a good location at the end of the high street with parking options nearby. The staff were exceptional - very friendly and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were easy and smooth processes. Really tasty breakfast, though a bit short on hot options, and the chefs are obviously very good at what they do. Complimentary food & drink in the room is a nice touch, as is the ability to order room service which we did treat ourselves to! This is probably one of the nicest and most well-presented hotels I've stayed in and everything felt very professional without being overly stuffy or posh.

Tea and coffee making area wasn’t clean, no sugar or coffee had to ask for some at reception. Empty sugar packets were put back in to tub on the tray so obviously hadn’t been cleaned or topped up from previous guests.

Friendly welcome nice clean hotel very nice room with plenty of room and a walk in shower the room also had a fridge and a safe very quiet room no external noise also had breakfast here which was plenty of choice and the evening meal was very good top quality
