There was nothing there to not like. The location is a lil tricky to find on first visit.

What a wonderful B&B was welcomed by Georgie on arrival who was very friendly and informative and showed us to our lovely room the room was beautifully clean and comfortable and the view from our room was stunning overlooking the lake. Breakfast was continental and had so much choice and all the produce was lovely and fresh. Clive the owner always made sure we had enough freshly brewed tea and coffee. The property also offers a wonderful lounge area and decking overlooking the lake. It’s the best B&B we have ever stayed in and there is absolutely nothing negative about this accommodation. Thank you for a wonderful stay Clive and Georgie.

The room was lovely and clean bed very comfortable. Plenty of tea and coffee. Bus stop at the top of the road to get on coast Hooper bus. Clive replied quickly to my Question let us leave the car there early on the day of arrival. Lovely beach hut to eat just down the road. Could sit outside by the lake to have a glass of wine. Very quiet good night sleep

Excellent continental breakfast with lots of choice. The location was in a quiet area just five mins walk from the beach. Lovely pond with ducks, nice communal decking area with comfy seats available overlooking the pond. Nice place to relax in the evening sunshine.

Loved the location of the B&B, such a short walk to the beach and our room was so lovely and clean. We didn't stay for breakfast but it was offered (no hot cooked food though) and would have had pastries and cereal etc. Hosts were also super nice and it would have been nice to stay longer but was only there for one night! Can't fault anything!

Host very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Accommodation very clean throughout. Perfect location to be able to walk to the beach, pubs and restaurants. Great outdoor space to sit and have a glass of wine in the evening and use of the lounge with pool table.

We liked everything! I only had one wish (and it is more of a luxury than anything else!); a full-length mirror would be lovely!

Sometimes a property just grabs you when you are searching and so it was with Lakeside, nor did it disappoint. We were met by an exceptionally friendly host and both he and the lady who served us breakfast were excellent hosts. The property is in a beautiful location, nor could we fault the room or the bathroom. The attention to detail is noteworthy, e.g. a torch for finding our way back at night (should we walk to the pub etc - which we did!), the information book is full of facts and advice, there is no stinting on the box of teas, coffees etc. The Continental breakfast was generous, varied and very good. All in all, we were made to feel very welcome - thank you to all at Lakeside!
