Nothing it was perfect.

This property has everything and is a home from home with lots of luxury added. We arrived to a beautiful welcome hamper. Having a hot tub on your own balcony with views across the lake and seeing the ducks, swans and geese is a real joy. They have a little island that our girls loved to cross the bridge and sit in the middle of the lake on a bench, they even have lights that light the bridge up in the evening and looks so pretty. At the front of the property you have the lovely farm animals that are all named and is a real joy to watch and also interact with the help of the lovely owners and team. I have to tell you about David who welcomed us and showed us around the site and the property, making sure we knew where everything is and comfortable knowing that we have the team on-site if we needed anything, we loved the fresh eggs he brought also. He really gave us a lovely welcome and we knew from that start our trip was going to be perfect. This is a stay for anyone. It has everything you need. We are already planning our next visit.

Can't think of anything....whole experience perfect!

The location of the lodge is excellent for exploring Cambridgeshire, I visited Cambridge, Ely, St Ives and King's Lynn. The stunning vista from the decking makes each morning truly breathtaking. The lodge is immaculate and has everything needed for a superb holiday...tried the hot tub on the last night, luxurious and decadent!

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived untill we left. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Beautiful and quite. Nice a relaxed just what we needed. Animals lovely to watch and feed. Fishing was good. If i wanted to say somthing was negative was it was a bit windy at times, but you carnt do anything about that, in nature's hand 😍

attention to detail.. there was a lovely hamper of goodies upon arrival. we had robes to use with the hot tub too which was lovely . the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. super comfy beds too

I can honestly say I’m struggling to answer this question. I loved everything.

Everything! The owners were very helpful and accommodating. The little farm was cute, clean and so lovely to see animals in spacious surroundings. We fed the ducks and watched them snooze in the sun. The accommodation itself was exceptional, amazing hot tub and beautiful outside space. Inside were two bedrooms, both with very comfy beds - home from home. The living space and kitchen were fully equipped and incredibly cosy and comfortable. A great all-rounder - a quiet place to come with friends or a base to use to explore Cambridge as the park and ride is only 5mins away. I’m coming back with my family, but I’ll also be doing a solo tranquil trip as it’s a great place to stimulate creativity.

The only downside was the fact we didn’t stay longer!!

Sharon was super welcoming on arrival! The lodge was like home from home - every little detail had been thought about. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our kids especially loved feeding the ducks, donkeys and goats. We can’t wait to return!

It wasn't my permanent home :-)

Very easy to get to, instructions from Sharon with codes to enter and get keys were spot on. I cannot fault the place. As soon as we got there we felt at home. We could smell the cleanliness as soon as entering the lodge, loved the little touches of Christmas tree, and additional decorations. Everything you could want in the kitchen (we bought some essentials, but wasn't needed) even a sandwich toaster was provided! comfy bed and useful sofa bed in lounge, lovely soft 3 piece towel sets for each guest, hot tub towels, fresh coffee, toiletries....the list goes on! We have stayed at another lodge in Cambridge, but this one far surpassed its facilities and our expectations, like the welcome hamper with Proscecco - Thanks Sharon :-) It was a very relaxing stay, peaceful, wonderful outlook, great size hot tub (pre heated and ready to go!). We even braved the cold to say hi to our four legged neighbours, Alpacas were very curious and posed well for photos. The kids thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we will most certainly be returning, hopefully in the summer to make full use of the outdoor area i.e. bbq!
