sparkle water is not enough, we are used to have hot water for daily drink. But we buy it in local superstore.

Beside us, there was a construction undergoing and it woke us up early in the morning.

The location was fabulous with landmarks all around us. The staff were very kind and the food was delicious. The toilet was very practical and the bed was extremely comfortable.

One lift did not work. The waiting times for the other lift meant that it was easier to walk and not use the lifts (this wasn't easy with luggage). The price was high for what you got.

The lighting in the room was very dim for reading. The menu in the bar/restaurant was limited and even more so because I am gluten intolerant. At breakfast I was accommodated well and the servers looked after my needs.

Location was close to Princes Street and The Royal MIle. Ideal for all tourist related activities.

The pillows were quite flat and hard. Only one elevator was working, so it was very busy. My father uses a walker, so using the stairs was not really an option for him.

It was expensive but that is what you have to pay for this location. During our stay there was only one lift operating and we sometimes had to wait a long time.

there was building work right beside the hotel so the noise was awful, didn't get to sleep very well, it would have been nice if they hotel gave us a quieter room or even if we had of known we probably wouldnt have stayed her. ordered a toasted club sandwich one day and it was very cold, asked it to be heated up, it came back barely warm! not great service, so we only ate there that one time.

most staff super friendly and very good location, walking distance to everything. room super modern and very comfortable, however, i had asked for a nice view, building works was my view! however, they even left wine and dessert as i was celebrating my birthday, very nice touch!

There was a construction site in the building right in front of my room so maybe it’d have been nice to be warned about it in advance by the hotel staff but to be honest it didn’t bother me much because I knew about it already by reading other reviews and also I didn’t sleep in the mornings of my staying. A little bit pricy if you’re staying alone and don’t have anyone to share the price but I’d recommend it and I’d like to stay here again!

Room and bathroom are both spacious and clean Coffee machine, biscuits and water in the room were absolutely wonderful to have! Staff was great, especially the blond lady at breakfast (sorry I don’t remember her name but she was very very kind)

Water pressure and also we made reservations months ahead of time to stay here on the front and then the back of our Scotland/Ireland trip with our good friends for my 60th birthday. We stayed April 11th and then again April 23. It cost I think $75 more the last night for the same room…? That was a mystery and I didn’t realize it until we were home.

The staff and especially bar staff were excellent. Location was great. Rooms were very nice- the shower had no pressure tho and I expected better in a hotel of this size.

One of the lifts during our stay was not working so you can just imagine how long it took for people to get to their floor. I hope that got fixed already.

Got the room with the double bed and single bed. The location is right beside the Royal Mile, and a less than 5 minute walk from the Waverley station. The room had comfy bed and pillows, had a small fridge, had a blow dryer, also had soap and shampoo/conditioner from The White Company so I suggest just brining some conditioner for anyone who needs them. Hotel had helpful staff too. Overall happy with our stay.

Location - fab, room was average and breakfast was very poor. Paid on the day so £18 per person. The food stations are messy and sloppy , hot food was below average. Not worth the money. Disappointed in breakfast, If I were to stay again I would not stay at the hotel for breakfast.
