The chef struggled at breakfast to cope with the number of guests and we had to wait over an hour for our food and then the eggs were over cooked!

Bathroom outdated and extractor fan placed on the ceiling in the bathroom. Not at all accessible.

I was put in a room no 5 with the fan outside on the wall I didn’t sleep because if he noise from the Dan and the noise if wedding guest Moved to rm 9 on the second night which was smelly could do with a deep clean

Ensuite bedroom. Comfy bed. Coffee, tea and biscuits. Plus gave us little fridge for dog food and food bowls. Good view.

We learned after our stay that we had paid a bit more than other guests. The breakfast didn’t live up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.

Staff were very pleasant. Room was very comfortable and the venue itself is in the a beautiful area, the views were stunning.

Bedroom good decor. Clean bed. Hotel refurbished. The bedroom we had is in desperate need of a new carpet and bathroom floor. The corridor carpet is old and shabby.

The bathroom smelt of damp. There was a smell of sewage when outside . The breakfast was not good toast was warm bread slathered in margarine(?)the one poached egg was unrecognisable. Food during reception was cold and presentation poor.

Parking was easy, check in was smooth, the room was newly refurbished to a very high standard, very comfortable. A nice bar with helpful friendly staff. Dinner was great and enjoyed by all my guests. Beautiful sunset down the valley.

Floors creaked so could hear people walking past room at night, wedding on so people back to their room late around 2am, heard them talking for a bit but not too long, was more noticeable because the floors creaked so much, the talking was a lot quieter than the creaking so not their fault. Their was really strong smell in the room when we first went in, opened the windows straight away and came back hours later and it was mostly gone. Price, don't think it was worth £150 per night, more like just under £100 maybe if it had a pool and hot tubs and all negatives fixing, TV was tiny and in the corner of the room, bed was a bit too soft and too small, a standard double is too small for 2 people unless it's a cheap hotel, a few more options at breakfast would be nice like muffins, then savoury items like ham, cheese and nice breads/rolls to make sandwiches. No aircon which was fine in May but would get hot in the summer. Was more than happy with the stay, probably wouldn't really have any complaints if we had paid around £90 per night.

Room was a bit tired in comparison to the rest of the hotel. This is a minor quibble that didn't detract from us enjoying the stay. There may have been a blanket below the bed sheet which my wife found "jaggy".

A sensible price for a visit to take in a concert in Cardiff. Great advice to use the train. Good Breakfast.

I liked everything. The only thing I thought could've been better was the size of the room and definitely probably the last room that still needed renovating. It needed a little love. But then again: we had the cheapest room so you get what you pay for and we were happy and lucky to stay in such beautiful location.

Staff are super friendly. Bed was comfy and breakfast was great. The location is beautiful. Close to some beautiful walks. Which we did.

Dongo there while a wedding is on. We booked the restaurant for an evening meal waited 15mins even to be seated. The Waitress was brilliant very apologetic about the wait for our order once we decided. The meal in it's self was fine as long as you were prepared to eat not what you ordered. Items were changed from what was stated on the menu

Room was lovely, the view over the driveway and side of the main hotel was interesting. The overall stay was 👍

Lovely location for nephews wedding. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The catering was 1st class. Would definitely stay here if I'm visiting this area again.
