It was a very large apartment in a grand house in a great location in Cardiff, very close to Sophia Gardens and only 15 minutes walk from the city centre. It was perfect for our needs. The parking arrangements were excellent and the apartment itself was of a very high standard, with lovely furnishings and a superb shower. The owners were extremely helpful in providing a wealth of information in advance and very clear instructions for the self check-in. They were also very quick to respond to a small query that we had.

The welcome provisions were a little meagre - some tea bags, a single coffee pod and an (open) milk bottle.

Lovely spacious room in a beautiful Victorian building. Comfiest bed ever (once we'd made some pillow adjustments)! The secure off-road parking was a bonus. Shops/pubs/restaurants, park and city centre all within easy walking distance.

The suite is located in the heart of Cardiff, convenient to all the amenities, including lovely restaurants and Cardiff Castle.

Part of a beautiful period building, in a lovely tree lined street, the Suite is perfectly enchanting. A wonderful combination of period and contemporary, with a feel of opulence. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, Pedro and Anna. We were also impressed with how spotlessly clean it was. Another advantage is how close to the city centre we were, Bute Park was 5 minutes away and we walked through this lovely area to reach the castle and the city centre. We went for our daughter’s graduation and had an altogether magical stay!

the radiators were a little noisy but we got used to the noise eventually. not really an issue.

the apartment is beautiful. amazing decor and facilities. location is perfect to explore Cardiff. bed was really comfortable and the shower was very good. kitchen was basic but with so many great bars and restaurants plus take away options it has everything you need

This was a very comfortable place to stay near to Sophia Gardens, so very central without being in the city centre. Excellent recommendations Re shopping and eating in the local neighbourhood by the owners. Everything was just fab! Very secure and secure parking too! Only negative was the slippery pavement just outside when it rains.

The WOW factor as soon as you walk in! What an amazing suite for a romantic weekend away. Just beyond the hustle and bustle of the city centre you get the perfect balance of close enough but a peaceful nights rest. Pontcanna has hidden gems of artisan eateries and bars just right for couples and the middle of the city is only a 15-20min walk or short taxi ride away.

fire alarm off ceiling but offers to fix it for next guest. hard lumpy pillows, thin small towels (pay £10 to upgrade ) no shower mat, not enough over head light. wanted photo of credit card even though paid via app already 🤷🏻‍♀️
