Satisfactory for overnight. I personally found bed rather soft and pillows too bulky but others may not find these a problem.

Fine for overnight stay. Convenient for railway station and onward transport to Coop Live venue. Undergoing renovations currently but no disruption for guests.

The renovation work and scaffold outside the building, but hopefully, that'll be finished soon. Felt like we're were being taken advantage of because we booked and paid early. I now realise that there is an abundance of hotels in cental Manchester, so it is not necessary to do that.

Great location - very quiet rooms despite overlooking railway tracks - room 809 Lots of renovation works which let's it down a little bit at the moment - we paid in advance, when we arrived we were told we had an upgrade, which seemed a nice touch but when I checked we still paid £10 more than we would if we just checked into the upgraded room on the day. Breakfast was OK, but it took a long time to be replenished when items ran out. All the staff we encountered were very nice, helpful and cheerful.

Nothing! There is a major refurbishment going on at the moment but other than the scaffolding and some boarded up areas in the foyer, our stay was not affected in any way. We knew at the time of booking to expect this renovation, but it genuinely was not an issue.

The location is close to the railway station and tram station. Extremely comfortable room/beds and very welcoming staff. We had a double deluxe room which was huge, with two large beds and a fabulous bathroom. The staff were professional, polite and mannerable and clearly well trained. The receptionist was very knowledgeable about the city and gave great directions for finding our way around. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and plentiful. Had a fabulous short stay and will definitely return.

The room had been refurbished but the bathroom not so much, cracked tile, lots of holes where fittings have been replaced and the holes left or filled. It let the room down

Stayed in a new refurbished room, great size and a big improvement, work is still ongoing but heading in the right direction. Really clean and light

We arrived at 3pm and our room was not ready until 5pm. We were there for the Barry Manilow show at CoOp Live as were many others and staff were aware of this as they mentioned it in check in. We had to be at the arena for 6.30pm so this did not leave much time to settle in the room and get ready. Bar food service was slow waited nearly an hour for burger and chips even though there was hardly anyone ordering food at that time (4pm in the afternoon). On returning after the show only one person serving behind the bar, there was a huge queue and they had run out of some drinks. Two other staff members tried to assist but they didn’t seem to know what they were doing, they struggled to understand what people wanted and then struggled to find it behind the bar. I had to point to what I wanted. That member of staff then walked off and a manager tried to open my bottle of Prosecco with a corkscrew and I had to tell him that’s not how you open it and told him he had to pop the cork. After opening it he also walked off and I had to ask the third member of staff if I could pay for it so I could take it away and drink it. They had no suitable bucket with ice to put it in they gave me a corona bucket I’ve never seen bar service like it. There was no coordination between the staff behind the bar and they were clearly not trained in bar work. Many guests in the queue were fed up and some complained to Reception. As the hotel is likely to be busy for many CoOp Live events they really need to get their act together and get rooms ready earlier and get some trained bar staff and be much more efficient at serving drinks and food. Plan ahead and if you know you will have many guests returning from a show and the bar will be busy make sure it is well stocked and you have enough trained staff to cope with the demand otherwise it is a disappointing end to an enjoyable night.

Reception staff helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and beds very comfortable. Food was cooked nice. Good range of breakfast options. The hotel is in a good location only a few minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly station and only three tram stops from CoOp Live arena.

The hotel was currently being renovated and the parts that were done already were lovely, the bar area is amazing and lovely and very comfortable (great cocktails) the hallways are looking a little tired (but I'm sure they will be renovated too) the bathroom In the room we had was amazing, I love the separate walk in shower. The beds were super comfy! We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back as its a great location for the city sites! Thankyou

The lady on reception on the evening was really abrupt and quite rude.

The hotel room was gorgeous so clean and comfortable. The break was delicious especially the omelette station and the restaurant staff were lovely.
