The Castle, rooms, and decorations were all 1st class. The grounds were exceptional. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They expressed how much they enjoyed working there. For my wife, her stay there was a dream come true.

I thought the breakfast was really good and they had a choice of continental breakfast too which was so good to see, I thought the location of the castle was superb,the best thing about my stay at this castle was how comfortable sleep you got in the beds the beds was so comfortable and big

I was charged a lot more on my credit card than I expected. Not sure why. I didn't realize till I returned home. I was not given a receipt on check out. Tub was to tall, I have arthritis in my knees, couldn't take a shower.

ONLY complaint would be the shower and its controls......a fine line between cold and being too hot. I recommend getting the temperature right before stepping in.

I can’t really find a fault The room we booked wasn’t the one we were given, however, the manager and Michelle on reception more than made up for this and went above and beyond to make sure this was rectified More than happy to stay here again !

The property was amazing Full of history and kept to a high standard Everything from the entrance to the rooms were beyond expectations Michelle on reception and the manager were beyond helpful And if the manager reads this ? Michelle should be promoted to reception manager ! You should know who wrote this ( room 203 and 3 )

The cook would not give me a well cooked egg no matter what. Its a slight thing thats now funnier than irritating. In 12 ccomodations the only comfortable mattress with side sleeping pillows

The grounds were gorgeous and the wooded paths were a lovely walk. The included brealfast was also excellent. Staff was funny and engaging.

Just a few small tips to make the experience even better. The bed was narrow for 2 people. Some racks in the shower, and near the bath and badin to put your bits an bobs. A make up mirror in the bath room. Capuccino at breakfast would be nice.

Beautiful castle, beautiful garden, heaps of atmosphere. The Castle suite is gorgeous, with a 4 post bed and copper bath. Large selection of tea in the room.

From the castle entrance, you need to catch an uber or do a bout 15 min walk. If you arrive tired this is a challenge. However in the morning I loved walking and exploring the route.

A castle with all the facilities! Prepared to be amazed by the beautiful interiors. Bathroom was so spacious with a beautiful bath, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The surrounding area is a forest with a stream running . Bettet to spend the whole time here to enjoy the sheer beauty of it.

The only criticism I have is it was always hard to get in touch with anyone before our stay , reception isn’t always readily available , but staff are pleasant enough when you can get through.

Loved the Hotel we stayed over as wedding guests and would love to have stayed longer very clean room comfy beds . Wedding breakfast perfect , Delicious breakfast , My husband managed to lose his new hearing aid but they phoned to say they had found it and would post it to us very pleased about that ..hope to return ..

Some abandoned items of previous events rather spoiled the otherwise splendid grounds.

We felt very grand staying in a castle and the facilities lived up to our expectations. Set in a wonderful peaceful parkland. The staff were friendly and helpful. Extensive dinner menu and our choices were tasty.
