We loved the historic charm of the building, its wooden panels, the classic british interior and antique furniture. The room was super comfy and very clean! The staff was very friendly and we always felt welcomed. There might nothing better to start the day with a typical english breakfast in the park lounge and for the evening having perfectly mixed cocktails at the stables bar always surrounded by great art.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were excellent, so professional , well mannered and friendly, special shout out to Tim the Concierge who was so helpful. Its a beautiful boutique hotel, with beautiful decor. We had a very spacious comfortable room with a lovely view over Kensington Gardens.Breakfast was very good.The Hotel is so well located, just across from Kensington Palace and 5 minutes walk from the underground. I would highly recommend

We had some difficulty getting back to the hotel later in the day to collect our bags due to a protest march, though nothing to do with the hotel, unrelated to our stay.

Hyde Park is right outside the hotel's front door, we had a junior suite which also had a view of the park. The room was very uniquely designed and luxurious. The staff were really good, helpful with anything we needed and friendly. In the morning we went for a run around Hyde Park which was one of the reasons we wanted this hotel. We were going to go elsewhere for a breakfast/brunch but decided to have breakfast at the hotel instead and it was a really good breakfast. We headed off into London for the day across the park on hired bikes and the hotel agreed to keep our bags safe for us as we were leaving that evening and didn't want to carry them about. Overall very happy with the hotel and experience, highly recommended.

We have stayed at the Milestone on various occasions for the last 20 years and there is always a very warm welcome. The staff are incredibly helpful and always greet you with a smile, nothing is too much trouble. Our room for this stay was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated and kept to a very high standard. We had afternoon tea on Sunday afternoon, we often visit the hotel just for afternoon tea and we can honestly say it is one of the best in London. We have sampled many many afternoon teas in top London hotels but the Milestone's is always very good compared to some others. The welcome biscuits in the room were absolutely delicious, breakfast was also top notch. We will of course being staying at the Milestone again in the future, just can't fault it.

So very dog friendly… even Ted had bottled waters waiting by his bowl a doggie towel basket toy and treats ! Fantastic upgrade to luxurious room thank you The staff so very helpful Attention to detail amazing …. Tim the doorman even cleaning the nameplates with a toothbrush !!! They know my favourite tipple Negroni and it was set out in my room on arrival…. How did they do that ? Angelo ? Best cocktail bar in London Best breakfast in the world with the yellowest egg yolks Shukara the new receptionist so witty Ha Ha Brilliant cleaning team nothing too much trouble

The bar prices were very steep but perhaps that is just us not being used to London prices and the cocktails were fabulous. There was no bar tariff on the mini bar that we could locate so we were put off using this facility.

The stand out for us was the quality of the team. The Hotel was Beautiful and attention to detail was amazing.

The staff - in particular, Steve the doorman - were outstanding. We were made to feel like the only guests in the hotel. It was also the quietest hotel we’ve ever stayed in!! Once inside our room, we literally didn’t hear a sound. A handwritten welcome note from the hotel manager, awaited us in our room. A lovely touch. The Stables bar was small, cosy and served great cocktails.
