Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Great rooms, fantastic location right next to the Great Orme (and the Snowdon Pub), and the owners were very friendly, chatty and welcoming who also had 3 very nice dogs (Bryn, Mal, & China). Would definitely come back if working up this way again.

United KingdomI was blown away by the hospitality and the location. The hosts were welcoming from the moment we stepped in, taking care of allergies, dietary restrictions, food preferences. We had so many options to choose from the variety of breakfasts made in-house (not the typical store bought cold breakfast). We were full till 4pm. All major attractions are close by. We did amazing hikes everyday Bringing back by parents next year for sure

Room 301 on the top floor has the best view and is a great size, the bed is really comfy and the shower is great too. There is a fridge in room and fresh milk for your tea or coffee. The hosts Teresa & Rheinallt are fabulous and remembered us from 4yrs ago. The breakfast is incredible with loads of choice and cooked fresh daily. Parking is available on request but be warned the seagulls take advantage of this, but Rheinallt gave the car a good wash for us

United KingdomThere was an excellent choice of cooked breakfasts and a reasonable choice of alternatives. For me I do not like cooked breakfast so I missed the wide choice usually available with a continental/buffet breakfast
My room and bathroom were very modern and practical. The owners were very friendly and helpful. My room was on the corner and the views were amazing The lack of a lift was not a problem as they were there to willingly carry anything to the room for u

United KingdomHaving to leave!!! Normally I’m ready to get home back to my own bed and comforts, but I could have stayed so much longer.
Literally, everything. From the moment we arrived I felt like royalty. The room was stunning, clean, amazing views. We had WiFi, bathrobes, slippers, a map of Llandudno, fresh milk and water in the mini fridge, tea&coffee facilities, iron & ironing board, shower get & shampoos, the list could go on.. they had thought of everything and we really did appreciate this.Teresa & Rhein were the most perfect hosts, the attention to detail was so lovely. Breakfast was the best I’ve had staying in a guest house, the selection of fresh local produce was fantastic. We loved our little chats, finding out the history of Min Y Don, but also finding out how much work Teresa & Rhein had done single handedly. You are both wonderful and so talented. Thank you so much and We will be booking again this week for our little break in June, we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else !!!

United KingdomThere was nothing we didn’t like. All our needs were catered for, Theresa and Rhein have definitely thought of everything to make the stay the best experience you will ever have. It will be very hard to find this level of attention anywhere else.
The room was large and spotless, very comfortable armchairs. The bed was very large and extremely comfortable along with top quality duvet and pillows. The views from the bedroom window were stunning, all along the bay from the Great Orem to the Little Orme, and we were greeted with some beautiful sunrises. The bathroom was very modern with a nice hot shower. Plenty of space for toiletries. Plenty of choice for breakfast and all freshly cooked in the morning, served with a smile. At breakfast the stunning views continued..

Very large fresh clean room with comfortable bed. Exceptional hosts who do go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Provisions included kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits, fresh milk & fridge - huge wardrobe, hair drier and TV - plus a great view of the bay. Excellent powerful shower and all the needed shower gels etc plus wonderfully large and fluffy towels - slippers too. Hosts cook a made to order breakfast which was superb - everything from fresh fruit & cereal to endless fully cooked options. Location is brilliant - across the road from the Pier, town centre in east walking distance and easy access to Great Orme either by foot, road or Tram. For us this was a last minute getaway and we loved every minute of it - thank you for making us feel so welcome H&A x

Everything was fresh, from the fruit, to the eggs and milk (both from local farms). Location An incredible and beautiful location. Only a short walk (less then 10 mins) to the beach. United KingdomThe owners Teresa and Rheinallt were welcoming from the minute that we arrived. Our room was lovely and clean with excellent sea views. The breakfasts were fantastic with a massive choice and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a drink in the bar in the evening and chatted to Teresa and Rheinallt. We ate in two local restaurants The Seahorse and La Taverna which were both great and very close to The Coppermill. The location is perfect and we will definitely return.

GermanyAs a regular user of hotels and guesthouses, Min Y Don Guest House rates as one of the very best. The new proprietors Teresa and Rheinallt have converted the rooms into an almost appartment-like character. Our very tastefully furnished (mega) sea-view room had an estimated floor area of approx 20m³ which included a double-bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, small fridge and two armchairs which is briliant for bad weather days. Nevertheless the room was spacious and did not feel at all cramped. The room has a TV and WI-FI, and a kettle for coffee/tea. The adjoining bathroom is equiped with an above-avarage sized shower and was also not cramped. Everything is absolutely clean. Breakfasts are top quality and personalized for all tastes, and freshly cooked while you wait - nothing was to much trouble. So thank you Teresa and Rhein for a very enjoyabe week, we will be back!
