Beautiful B&B just a short walk from town. So close to all the sights, pubs and restaurants. Rooms were spacious and breakfast awesome. Free parking was an added bonus

Service was amazing, location was perfection, and the room extremely clean.

The breakfast was above and beyond expectations. All of the future bed and breakfasts I stay at will have a really hard time reaching the level set by MonkBridge House.

Excellent facilities - everything had been thought of (fresh milk in fridge & homemade biscuits). Bar prices really good too. Breakfast was lovely with freshly cooked food & lots of choice (& home made items too!)Parking onsite & close to everything to see in York.

The house and room are lovely, there is a pretty little garden and there is car parking, despite everything being in easy walking distance it is very quiet and peaceful here. Breakfast was a treat freshly cooked to order, homemade butter and jams .

The location of the property is ideal for visiting the city centre and all its attractions. All of which are in walking distance from MonkBridge House. Off road parking for the duration of our stay was a great plus. Could not say anything negative about this absolutely beautiful House.

The hosts were friendly and helpful. They always appeared to have time to talk with guests. Locality just outside the city walls. Location for dining and things to do. Fresh breakfasts. Comfortable and clean bedrooms. Onsite parking. Quality Street chocolates. Everything!

Great hosts. Excellent communication. Decor throughout the property was smart, and welcoming. Bedroom was superb, and bed very comfortable. Homemade bread and preserves on offer at breakfast, and local suppliers used. Liked the offer of and addtional wo daily specials such as gravadlax and rye bread. Parking on site was a bonus. Location excellent. Less than 10 minute walk to the heart of York.

Nothing at all, everything was great. Perhaps aside for the water pressure in the shower, but that's minor.

Had a lovely two nights here. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and good variety. Bed was a dream. Sherry on the house a really nice touch. You can tell the family put their heart and soul in the place. Location is good, quiet, about 10 minute walk from York city center. Don't miss the Foss Fairy Trail right outside the house!

Absolutely fabulous house in a great location only 15 minute stroll from York Minster. Everywhere was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our hosts were friendly, informative and helpful, and made us feel like guests in a friend’s home. The breakfast was superb with such a great choice and beautifully presented. We will definitely stay again.

The room was modern, lovely, and clean and the bed was big and comfortable. The decor of the whole house was beautiful and well kept. The host Paul and Fiona were lovely and went the extra mile to please guests. Paul's breakfast was exceptional. The location is spot on, 10 minister brsik walk from everything you want from your city break in York.

Everything about MonkBridge House ticked the boxes for us and was what you saw and read about on Booking.com. Cleanliness, friendliness and exceptional food were what we got, with the bonus of being a short walk away from York city centre.

The hotel is very inviting and easy to find. It had parking available which was important as we came by car.

The hotel was in a great location within a walking distance from the town centre. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had really enjoyed our breakfast and home made butter and fam was a lovely touch.
