- No elevator, I had to carry all my luggage to the third floor and the stairs weren’t wide. - Room was cramped, meanwhile 1/3 of the room was taken by the bathroom. - There was just one small window which was not really nice. - Towels weren’t changed after cleaning the room.

WiFi wasn't consistently strong. Didn't like being in the basement, and didn't realize there were stairs; but the staff quickly helped with luggage, etc.

Good location to get around where I needed (bus or tube). Restaurants in the area - many, good, different levels of cost. I liked that the facility was not a large hotel, more like a home.

there was a very noisy AC unit or something just outside my window, but it only bothered me the first night. And no elevator, but i was warned about that one, so that's ok)

This is a beautiful hotel, with small rooms and a cosy "at home" feeling that we loved. The staff could not have been more friendly and the whole place was as clean as a whistle. The location was the best I've ever stayed in London, right in the heart of the city and yet on a very quiet street, the perfect combination!

Montagu Place is a small, cosy, townhouse hotel, very well located in the heart of Marylebone. The rooms are tastefully furnished, clean and very comfortable, and our bathroom was outstanding. The reception staff were warm, friendly and very, very helpful. Highly recommended!

the standard double is very small, too small for a couple. the breakfast is very poor and having to order in advance is not very practical. expensive for what it is, though London is expensive anywhere

The location of the hotel is excellent for business travel, very very central, and safe. The room is small but very comfortable and the bed and mattress are really good. Excellent place to spend a few days and have the easiness of getting around on foot.

The pillows were pretty useless, one of the table lamps didn’t work and the safe kept giving an error message, however these were minor things that didn’t really impact our stay.

The staff were very friendly on arrival and helpful before booking with parking enquiries. The bed size was brilliant as was the room overall, with a great bath and walk in shower. The bed was comfy and the room was nice and quiet. Fantastic Molton Brown toiletries. We went downstairs for an ironing board and they also offered us free robes which was a very nice touch.

The bar was limited for choice (no Baileys) and the lounge/sitting area was really small. Comfortable seating but a little dated looking. Bedroom furniture damaged and tired looking. Bathroom was clean and tidy but again needs updating.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us, close to Oxford St and Soho. Practical to walk rather than take the Tube or taxi/bus. Quiet location. We did not take breakfast at the hotel, the menu choice was rather limited. Excellent beds with quality linen.

Cons. °Lamps by the bed. 1 I had to plug in. The other had no light bulb. °Kettle had left over water in it and didn't look descaled. Other than that, all good!
