Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere wasn't a clothes drawer which is a shame, not everything is suited to the peg board/wardrobe rail solution. If there was one it was too well hidden to see!
The atmosphere when we walked in was super organised and calm but very chilled and relaxed. Even at nearly midnight the staff were friendly and helped us check in quickly. It was a huge relief after a long journey. Very comfy bed and the room was really well laid out to make best use of the space. I've seen much more expensive hotels with less thoughtful layouts. The breakfast was really tasty and I've never had better coffee out of an automatic machine. The location is great too, very handy for both town center and station. Would definitely rebook.

United KingdomNot much parking, I know it's difficult in cities, so we had to walk a bit further with our bags which was a bit of a pain.
Lovely, friendly staff, very willing to help with any small queries. The room was nice, small but had everything you needed. Nice modern bathroom, great lighting and all very clean. About 15 minutes from the middle of Chester on foot, and not that much quicker by taxi due to the one way system. Close to the station though and right next to Waitrose.

United KingdomBreakfast was chaos, we didn’t actually stay in the end. Very busy, no where to sit. But also the buffet area was messy and there weren’t any plates/bowles. It is about a 10 minute walk into town.
Check in staff lovely, nice touch with a complimentary welcome drink. Hotel was clean and modern. Ok location, plenty of cheap parking nearby if hotel is full.
