Very minor things would make this perfect, we were left just one dishwasher tablet for 3 days; a few more would save us a trip to the shops. Some information on emptying bins (we didn't) and a hoover/dustpan would be great especially with kids and dogs. I'd also invest in bath sheets. Like I say all very minor. I wouldn't recommend to less mobile holidaymakers as there are lots of stairs inside and to the beach - although you could drive down

The location is perfect, amazing views with a wonderful seating area to look out from the penthouse. Surrounded by bars and restaurants, beach to the front and park to the rear. Also loads of shops within walking distance and no problem finding dog friendly places to eat and drink. The beach is zoned into dog friendly and bathing. Beds and the sofa are comfortable and the rooms are well appointed and fresh. The roof shape makes the penthouse interesting and quirky. Our own parking space was really helpful and the door codes and key lockers make checking in and out easy, very welcome at the end of a long drive!

There really is nothing I can think of that I didn't like . If I had to name something it would be to make sure you take washing up liquid

The apartment was spotlessly clean, as if we was the first to step through the door. Had every thing you could need for your stay. Owners very quickly respond to messages if you have any queries. Great view from the livingroom window . I will most definitely be returning

There wasn’t sufficient hot water available to fill the bath and I’ll confess I struggled with the British mixer taps in the shower so I only ever had lukewarm water there. The double bed was two singles pushed together and it felt as though I might disappear down the crack in between. There was a strong smell of disinfectant in the fridge so I chose not to store food in it, as I suspect it would soak up the aroma. But then I have an overly sensitive nose.

I loved the location and that the lighthouse flat looks to both sunrise and sunset. The proprietors were very kind and carried my luggage up the many stairs for me. I particularly enjoyed the desk by the window , looking out into the world as I was writing.

What a gem of a place ✨️ Location Location Location with views that are out of this world. We stayed in Adelaide, a 2 bedroom, modern apartment with everything you need for the perfect stay. We didn't feel the need to go out every night as the apartment was super cosy. Free parking was a great addition, too. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to return Debbie & Mark

Would have liked a king-size bed there is room . A full size mirror, so I didn't have to bend down to see the mirror. More than 2 spoons. A shower with the door so close to the walk my husband couldn't get in and I rubbed the wall in and out. My son, who is average size, was also surprised where the door was. Every door slammed shut. I get fire doors, but get quiet door closers. We come to Sunderland a lot and we have stayed in a lot of the hotels. I was hoping we had found our returning place. I will continue looking.

Sparkling clean and spacious beautiful views. Full size kitchen Wasted on us we came to see our son so ate out.So many plug sockets must be about 20 in the entire apartment. Quiet until other guests arrived, then you can hear all the inner doors closing.

A information pack for the tv WiFi code and facilities in the property. The heavy fire doors due to having a young child I was frightened she would catch her fingers and the noise from them for other apartments. Glass table with no place mats or glass cleaner with the young one there was hand prints everywhere. Otherwise it’s perfect and fabulous if you don’t want to go out and just look at the sea

The sea view and proximity to facilities in roker / Sunderland . The manger was attentive with messaging . The space in the property and the style of decor giving a clean feeling. We had Sunday dinner at grannie Annie’s and it was great value for money

The property itself was perfect, only thing I would say is it needs some oven gloves and tea towels as we only had the one hand towel in the kitchen.

The property was absolutely stunning. From walking in through the front door and seeing the original floor tiles of the building to the beautifully decorated rooms. It was spacious in all rooms and exceptionally clean.

There was quite a lingering smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom. Not a huge issue nothing that couldn’t be sorted with febreeze the sink is blocked in apartment 2 water wouldn’t drain normally but wasn’t an issue for us just a mention :)

Was a lovely apartment lovely view, nice area and good facilities, easy access and parking straight outside all very convenient. Had everything you needed! Did love that when I arrived it was warm and toastie felt instantly home away from home. Would most definitely recommend and we will be using again.

The self closing interior doors were annoying, as was the light in the hallway which was on a sensor. No way anyone can get up to use the loo in the night without setting off a very bright light and thereby waking up whoever else is there. There is a lovely full size dishwasher, but not enough cutlery, so you have to wash up by hand rather than run the machine two thirds empty.

Excellent location and wonderful views. The apartment was very clean, fresh and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen.

The only gripe. (Very minor) The mattress and pillows were a bit soft. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

It was very well located for all amenities, with a great sea view. Very spacious, with everything you needed to cook. With plenty of plates, cutlery, etc. It was also very clean and secure, with well thought out furnishings.

The water from a shower was with low pressure and took time to warm up.
