The spa area was amazing. Was upgraded to the top floor as an addition for my friends birthday. Amazing, friendly staff. The club room was a nice addition and the beds were super comfy

It’s close to the theatre yet when we got back to bar they had turned off hot drink facilities and no bar snacks. Would be work extending these to 12 if that’s a show on

Being a Saturday it was a little noisy outside, which it does warn on the website. Not sure how good the noise insulation is between rooms. Wasn't a major problem and managed to sleep ok.

Room was nice. Pool and spa were very good, quieter than I expected for a weekend. I liked that they had children sessions, which you could avoid if you wanted it quieter. Saying that I did go during this time and found it fine.

The walls were very thin in the rooms. You could hear couples in both rooms either side of ours.

Bedroom walls thin and could hear alot of other guest noise. Also air con very noisy - couldn’t have it on as it rattled.

Pool and gym opening hours Kids swimming should be early morning as they're the ones who are up then have late morning adult only. Earlier gym opening hours would be appreciated

Only downfall the spa could have more in it but that’s very minor but making the spa bigger (if possible) would make it a perfect hotel for sure in my eyes. Thank you for the stay.

The place was stunning. Staff were incredible with customer service. Hard to find having every staff polite helpful kind and considerate. Food had amazing options! For once a hotel with soya unsweetened milk! So pat on the back for that! Very very happy all round! Added bonus is complimentary parking was given which was incredibly kind.

Shower wasn't working at the spa. Very thin walls in the room, we could hear everything from the other rooms, which was very uncomfortable during night.

I was disappointed with the spa, it was very small and there were multiple balls of hair in the shower, so gross! Also there was no sauna!?

Comfy big bed, clean rooms, amazingly helpful staff - I think Gemma served us, she is a superstar - very friendly and warm.

The pillows on the bed could have been more comfortable they were a bit lumpy.

No useful space in the room , no draws to put cloths in , if they removed the small fridge which isn't used and put some draws in its place it would have been better

Our bedroom overlooked the roof and a noise was going all night . However at breakfast we were told the rain had come in to part of the hotel and dehumidifiers were on to help with the damp. This might have been the noise all night ?

The lift from the car parkbwas out of order. Some of The Lifts in the hotel were out of service the entire time I was there, (3 nights), and I understand they had been out of service for a while! Consequently, it took a while to wait for the only Lift that was working and so, when you're on the top floors, it's annoying as well as inconvenient. Also, at the point of reservation online, which was around Sept 2023, the hotel information advised that the car park was £16 per night. But when I checked in, I was informed £17 per night 😳 Correct information is needed.

Hotel was beautiful and, clean. Plenty to eat at breakfast and the times for breakfast, great. Perfect location for the event I was attending, which was a dance festival in the function room of Alea Casino, which was directly opposite the hotel, and literally seconds walk away! Also within walking distance of Nottingham Train station, which will be a consideration next time.

The toilet in our room still had the previous customers wee in it, and a thick build up of grime around the seat, as of only the 'hot spots' were getting a quick wipe.

The lounge and restaurant were really nice, every member of staff we came across were friendly, helpful and charming.

The gym and pool facilities were excellent, the room was well proportioned and the bed was roomy if a tad soft for my liking. The pillows were okay, perhaps a couple more would be better and the shower was great but I prefer a shower not over a bath.

The location is great and the parking in next door. The staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast we very good with a chef on hand to cook an omelette or poached eggs. Having a small pool and gym was a bonus.

Just one minor point.  We stayed on the 8th floor.  The view from our room was lovely, but it was spoilt by the roof below - not very nice to look at.  Perhaps a cover for the plant roof, if it is possible, would be an idea to enhance the rear view.

My partner and I had a wonderful overnight stay to celebrate our birthdays and valentines Day. From arrival to departure, everyone and everything was spot on. Staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful. The facilities were excellent and the cleanliness was absolutely 1st class. We felt completely comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We would certainly stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.
