I don’t know if it might just have been a problem with my room but the “mobile phone only” sockets/outlets overheated a little and generally the power for the sockets seemed a bit low for charging my laptop and phone, between days travelling. Minor inconvenience rather than a huge problem - and maybe room-specific.

The noise from a wedding that was taking place in the hotel. On the 3rd floor it was so loud!

Unfortunately, we were located on the 3rd floor as I had booked a twin room, which was not good as there was a wedding taking place and the noise was so bad we would not have got any sleep. However, the supervisor working that night was amazing and moved me and my son to a family room on the 7th floor, which was great and quiet.

It is very expensive

The breakfast should be free like almost the hotels but your hotel is very expensive and i have to pay for the breakfast 28pound even i ate just a Croissant and tea!!!

Breakfast was better than expected with wide choice. Staff at mirror bar was exceptional. Front desk staff was scripted and dud not make any effort to respond to individual needs. We understood that check in ould be after 3p but we arrived at 8am and saw countless guests checking in and receiving room keys. It was not until i pointed this out to front desk at 2p that we were provided a room. I think we were made to wait unnecessarily

The first night we were kept awake untill 1am do to the hotel having a wedding downstairs. The manager said he would give us complimentary breakfast on our second morning to which this wasn't apparent when we told the staff that morning. Secondly my family and I returned home that bank holiday Monday to all have upset tummies and DnV.

Staff were great, really friendly and helped out. The reception foyer and bar area was very modern.

The room was booked for 3 but seemed to be prepared for 2. I pulled the sofa bed out and it had clean linen on but there were only had 2 towel sets.

I really like this hotel. I often stay here for work but this was the first time staying at the weekend with my children. The location is so convenient for public transport and the staff are very friendly. My kids especially enjoyed the breakfast and sweetie bar!

Rooms hot and air con didn't seem effective. Not the hotels fault but some very noisy and totally inconsiderate people in a room over the corridor from us ensured our sleep was prevented then disturbed again around 3am. Not on. Why are some people so selfish??

Good location, very helpful staff, clean and great breakfast. Room had a bath as well as shower. Parking was straightforward, and cheaper if pre booked through hotel.

The food at the cafe was so so. The bed mattress could be better.

Cost of parking - parking should be included, or at least a discounted price for hotel guests. We stay in this hotel due to convenience off the motorway, but it is now more cost effective to get the train, so likely to look at hotels more central. Parking cost us over £60 for just 2 nights!
