Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

The host was absolutely lovely and extremely welcoming so much so we left him a slice of a birthday cake! And the location was also very nice. The place is lovely and the host very welcoming and helpful. The decor is great, it has everything you need for a home away from home. It was lovely and warm and the beds are so comfy, which was what we needed after a night freezing at Wembley stadium! This made a great base for our weekend away. The tube is close and there's plenty of shops and eateries all in walking distance. Fresh bagels on Sunday morning were a bonus - couple of minutes down the road is Carmelli bakery. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Property is very modern, very well refurbished, and even better than advertised. Regulated the temperature well, house retains warmth easily. Property is more than equipped. More than enough utensils, pots, pans, cutlery, plates, cleaning products, you name it. Hosts went out of their way to buy my partner a birthday cake. House was pristine in cleanliness. Reiterating that it is well equipped: bathing products, towels, TVs in each room, Netflix nowtv and all relevant things anyone would want to watch on TV, well regulated fridge and big in size, dishwasher, food waste drain, high tech microwave. All of these made our group almost reluctant To go out because of everything that property had to offer. The Hosts set a new benchmark for what we expect of future hosts and properties.

GermanySome hooks for jackets near the front door and for a towel in the bathroom would make the appartment even more perfect, but maybe that's more a German thing?
Excellent appartment in a quiet but still well connected location. Subway, bus stops, restaurants, and supermarket are nearby. Check in and Check out was very easy. The host Michael was very responsive and provided everything we needed.

We stayed here in September for 3 nughts, what a fantastic place! Great location, about 5 minutes walk from the nearest tube, spotlessly clean, plenty of fabulous facilities and an exceptional host who was always on hand to answer any questions and give plenty of recommendations for places to go and eat. We would definitely recommend staying at Oak Tree Lodge and we will most certainly be back

Everything was spot on and we would highly recommend Oak Tree Lodge as a base for visiting London - you will not be disappointed. Home from home. Clean, comfortable, secure excellent facilities and all self contained in a very quiet area of London. Only 5 mins walk to Golders Green Tube Station several stops from the centre of London with local shops and restaurants a plenty. Ideal for Camden Town. Finally the host Michael was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly use Oak Tree Lodge should we return to London.

United KingdomArriving from an international destination, I was way late to the property with a changeable arrival time. The host, Michael, was completely understanding and patient and gave me a warm welcome when I finally arrived. The property is well-appointed and extremely comfortable. In the brief and unexpected high temperature and high humidity, the flat stayed reasonable, though Michael offered to bring fans over anyway. Michael stayed in touch to offer thoughts on local facilities and directions. Great host!

United KingdomThere was absolutely nothing at all to not like about the property, but I would recommend having a non-slip bathmat for the bathrooms.
In a lovely residential area and a short walk to the tube station. There are lots of nice and reasonable priced places to eat on the High Street. Michael was very friendly and highly efficient. Very good information booklet provided. Can fully recommend booking the property, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again in the future
