That we didn’t get more time there to enjoy

We were blown away with the breakfast options. After travelling all day it was so lovely to arrive somewhere we you could just sit down, make a cup of tea and have the option to get a snack or cook something up. Home from home, would highly recommend.

The owner was so lovely and so helpful, felt like at home. Kids were very happy and the breakfast was enormous! Prepaired for vegetarians :) Comfortable parking, nice space outside. Great place to visit Wales, Bristol or Bath! Will be back for 100%

Stunning location, lovely and clean. An array of food and drinks including fresh milk and orange juice. Nice little touches that made it very homely. A lovely stay and very comfortable end to our trip. Thank you.

Weather... We had a mix of rain and wind during our stay and it was cold outside. However, the warm atmosphere inside fully compensated.

Everything was exactly as in the photos, while the "small details" pleasantly surprised us. Lots of amenities were provided (treats and snacks for breakfast, bathroom stocked with everything we needed, warm blankets, books to read, etc.). We enjoyed a stunning view of the River Severn and relaxed watching the beautifully colored birds feasting on seeds outside our window. Our lovely host gave us a warm welcome and gave us interesting details about the area and tourist attractions. We would love to come back at some point.

It was all good, only thing better is a washing machine but I coped !

I like the area, the nearness to a main road yet off the beaten track so to speak, very tranquil and restful. The owners who are friendly and absolute stars are nearby so I felt safe but I had privacy and respect for my personal space. Plenty of food for me to have for breakfast and snack on in the evening.

Sofa bed was rather uncomfortable for our daughter, but host told me they are looking into a better replacement. A tiny bit too much clutter in the property to enable you to put your belongings anywhere. Bathroom had lots of items supplied (which was thoughtful) but this meant there was little space to put your own things. Maybe just have a selection in a cupboard and pop a note in the bathroom saying where they are? Same with items on the dresser and wicker chest, maybe just put a few things away so we have somewhere to put our things?

Breakfast supplies were left in the cottage for you to make your own breakfast. A massive selection was provided that would meet anyone's requirements. Very generous. Host was really lovely. Very lovely quiet location. Comfortable bed.

Bristol is 20 minutes away, but it may take close to an hour to get into the centre ( city traffic).

The place is small but has Everything you need. Tha bathroom has all items one can imagine. The owners are next door, so any questions can be answered fast and issues resolved ( you are unlikely to have any though :) ). Gorgeous location, at the doorstep of the Wales. Fully stocked fridge and kitchen to make/have breakfast for a big family with different tastes and/or allergies. Super friendly hosts. Lots of history to the location itself. Super quiet with a view at the river. Bird feeders outside the widow to watch little beauties.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Old Fairy View, hosted by the delightful Jane and Peter. From the moment we arrived, we felt embraced by the warmth and charm of their lovely home. After a long journey, we were pleasantly surprised to find a fridge stocked with essentials. This thoughtful gesture brought immediate smiles to our faces and was a much-appreciated touch of hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Jayne and Peter for making our stay unforgettable. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Breakfast provisions exceptional including catering for my allergy needs. Lovely temperature in the stay and the furnishings make it relaxing to be in this property. The bed was very comfy and despite the storm very quiet. We can't wait to return

Nothing really. The apartment is on a not busy road and there is not much there, but we knew that already.

The breakfast was the best part. They left quite a lot of food for us to enjoy and very nice breakfast both days. The bed was very comfortable

The mattress and pillows could have been more comfortable, but I know it's difficult getting it right for everyone's needs.

Lovely luxurious apartment with great views.Would have quite happily stayed longer. So much food was available with a good selection, and then the owner arrived with more fresh croissants,bread, and milk! The owners were warm and welcoming. Free parking. Good area for long walks and grear historical significance. So close to Severn Bridge. Once in the cosy apartment, it was really difficult to go out! Would like to try another visit in the summer.
