How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing. Perhaps some earl grey tea bags would be nice.
The property is extremely close to the West End. The hotel is clean and smart with welcoming, attentive staff. The rooms are modern and classy, with the quietest of air conditioning units. Electric black out blinds and sound glazing gave us a peaceful, undisturbed sleep, which is quite rare in central London.

The location was excellent! All staff we came in contact with were helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Nice coffee/wine bar in lobby. My daughter also got a delicious breakfast sandwich there. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and I would stay here again if I return to London.

Rooms were quite warm, but we could open a window. No top sheet on the beds.

No iron in the room, though a laundry service was available. It would have been nice to have a bath, but the rooms are a limited size and clearly effort has gone into thinking about efficient use of space.
Modern hotel with smaller but decent value rooms for the location. We got a free upgrade to a suite and the amenities in the room were great. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Electric black out blinds were a very much appreciated touch

The response time for ad-hoc requests was slow, probably they were busy at that time. The shower was just handheld could've been stronger. The toothbrush was of low quality so would recommend to get your own. Overall, this hotel is good as of now. One thing that turned me off a lot was some of the staff. Mandy was really pleasant amongst the others including the manager I think Eva was her name, Henrietta on the other hand needs to learn some extra TLC with handling guests. No matter how you put it, we are paying customers and we deserve to be talked to with the least respect you could give.
What a great location! Near to either National Rail or Undergrounds, about 15 mins walk to Westminister Abbey/ Big Ben area. It is a busy street but thankfully the rooms are sound proofed so we weren't bothered by it much. The cafe below is great, coffee is good and pastries are tasty. There's also a Pret just beside the hotel if you fancy something else. The room we got was of a decent size (deluxe double), we thought a city view would be great but apparently city view is just technically of a building. The washroom is nice and feels very high quality but as an Asian, would've been a big plus to have a bidet. The laundry service is expensive though so we did Laundryheap instead that the hotel is thankfully one of the locations they deliver to.

The location of this hotel could not be beat. In the dead centre of everything with the ability to walk to most anywhere interesting. What made the hotel better, considering all that, was how quiet it was inside the rooms. We slept like kings.
