Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe room I was in had no windows in the main room or the bathroom. The large florescent light had to be on or off, no lamps or side lighting. It wasn't a great place to stay as so basic but it did the job.
The person who checked me in was lovely, really pleasant and helpful. The room was spotless, decent bedding and a good bed. It was ridiculously cheap so good value for money for a last minute stop off.

United KingdomThere was a picture of a famous band and a dream catcher on the wall in my room, which didn't bother me really but it might be a good idea to keep the hotel walls neutral in case they offend others. The bathroom and shower area lacked shelves and there was no plug for a hairdryer/straighteners etc. The shower didn't work at all on arrival, but was fixed quickly after speaking to reception. Unfortunately it had two settings, too cold or scalding hot and so I had to keep adjusting the settings every five seconds. Tip: There were no teaspoons in my room, just a couple of wooden stirrers and so pack one or two if you are planning on staying here.
The location is quite good, as it is fairly close to Victoria Train Station. (I took bus 59 outside the Printworks: 10-15 minute ride). Reception is open 24 hours and on arrival, the staff were polite and helpful and my luggage was carried to my room for me after check in. The hotel uses a card system to access the front door and also the hotel room. The single room I stayed in had an ensuite and it was clean and cosy. There was a kettle as well as a TV and the bed was firm and comfortable. For heating purposes, there was an adjustable radiator in the room and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fan constantly on, Loud and annoying. No towels provided. Bathroom Tiny. Shower appalling. Too small can’t even turn round or nothing. Impossible to stay here.

United KingdomUnfortunately mugs and tea coffee tray not cleaned room very badly smelt of cigarette smoke even though it is supposed to be a non smoking hotel. Booked for 2 nights only able to stay 1 night stayed elsewhere on 2nd night and checked out in the morning on departure day. Corridor carpets need a shampoo. More care and attention needed on fixture and fittings and shower door did not close. Room not set up with towels only bath mat on the floor. Had to ask for 2nd pillow and towels. This seemed to be more of a sheltered hostel accommodation. No TV channels only radio only positive wifi was good. If room and corriders did not smell of smoke and room was clean. This would have been a pleasent stay. I would not recomend this hotel or stay again
