Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beautifully designed and decorated loft apartment, 'The Butler's Loft'. So cosy, comfortable, warm and like a home from home. Immaculately clean. Had everything you could want in terms of kitchen equipment, toiletries, hairdryer, etc. Quiet and calm location. Plenty of space for a couple to stay. Easy, free parking outside.

United KingdomWe were greeted by lovely Rachel who showed us up to our apartment and explained how the keys/heating worked etc, it was lovely to meet her as she made us feel so welcome. Our apartment was beautiful and amazingly clean and tidy, after staying in other hotels earlier in the week it was wonderful to stay somewhere so homey! The kitchen was immaculate and had plenty of equipment to make a homemade meal. The living area was super comfy and the television had a Netflix account for us to use which was much appreciated. The bed and pillows were very comfy! I usually struggle to sleep in other beds but had no problem here (the only struggle was getting out of bed in the morning!). The bathroom was lovely and clean, and there were plenty of towels left out for us. I don’t often leave reviews, but felt I had to on this occasion as I was so delighted with our stay, I will definitely be returning and have already recommended the apartment to family that will be visiting the area.

United KingdomIt was quite a windy weekend, and the window in the lounge was vibrating quite a lot. Not a big deal for us, but it might be for someone else.
The apartment was very spacious, very warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. It's in a great location central to most of Cornwall and only 5 minutes fromThe Eden Project. The host, Rachel, met us on arrival and explained how it all worked and gave us the keys.

They left clear instructions for the apartments. The apartments were gorgeous & each very different. The beds were comfy too.
