Breakfast was very good and the overall standard was great. The breakfast was laid out very delicately and tasteful. We liked the small extra details, I.e cloth to remove makeup etc. Also that we were able to put the heating on when we needed to.

Super Bed & Breakfast in Trispen! Perfect location for exploring around Truro and beyond….Professional and knowledgeable host… re places to eat, foraging and kayaking advice. Lovely room and comfortable bed. Nice shower, good water pressure. Dog bowls and treats provided. Lovely breakfast in a beautiful room. Good quality ingredients and nicely cooked. The owner was very friendly, and we had a nice chat at breakfast. Had a great sensir light in a wall plug socket so if you got up to go to the toilet you could see where you were going.

We could not wish for anything to be better.

The location was in beautiful countryside and idyllic. There was an amazing choice for breakfast. We decided on the full Cornish which came quickly and hot, delicious and excellent.

Absolutely amazing B&B, felt at home as soon as we arrived with a great welcome from Ben. Exception to detail was fantastic, from the detailed arrival instructions prior to our visit, Katherine’s home made biscuits in the room and dog biscuits, bowls and even cleaning products in case of any doggy accidents, we couldn’t have been better looked after. Breakfast was as high standard as the rest of the stay. One of the best B&B’s we’ve stayed in by far.

Pengelly Farmhouse just has a lovely feel. Stay once and it will call you back. Beautiful room, quiet spacious with a gorgeous rural outlook. Bespoke tasty brekky. We enjoyed learning more about Cornwall-Ben's generosity of time to share his wealth of local intelligence was useful and fascinating. Meur ras!

Nothing, I cannot fault it at all.

The room was perfect, well decorated, tastefully decorated and restored to a high standard, with lots of little things that had clearly been very well thought out. The host was amazingly friendly and accommodating and we felt very well catered for. Having such a good choice of high quality breakfast options was an added bonus, and the location was great for our plans. We would certainly come back again.

Our stay at Pengelly was exceptional. Beautiful house and garden, friendly hosts, very clean and thoughtful room (homemade biscuits, silent fridge with fresh milk, make up flannels, bowls and treats for our dog) and an incredible breakfast. Honestly the best fry up we've ever had. Have 100% recommended to our family. Will hope to return soon.

Ben was welcoming, allowed us to travel with our 2 puppies and welcomed us eagerly. The house and the room were imaculate , the service Ben provided was great and the breakfast menu was brililant. Home grown and local ! what can beat that. We will be returning. Thank you Ben and family x

This property is in a very quiet, beautiful and tranquil location. There is no traffic thundering by and the silence is absolute at night. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the tranquility after 12 days in London . Our very comfortable and well appointed room had a lovely view over the garden . Ben was a wonderful host and cooked us a scrumptious breakfast . We were centrally located and Ben was very helpful with travel and local pub advice.The home made cookies were an incredible treat .

Our stay was perfect. The farmhouse is in a beautiful rural location, and ideal for relaxing. Ben was the perfect host, making sure everything was right for us. The room was lovely, with added extras like homemade biscuits, plenty of hot drinking options, and a mini fridge with milk and water. Breakfast was delicious - the eggs benedict were yummy ! We would recommend the b and b to anyone.

Great location to see other parts of Cornwall. Ben and Katherine were polite and great hosts. Ben's culinary was excellent for breakfast. A must-have pancakes!! Lovely accommodation with all the facilities of a 5 star hotel. Well recommended.
