There was nothing that we didnt like - the hosts went above and beyond to make our short time there an extremely pleasant one. Mark and Lisa are so welcoming that it feels like you’ve been there many times before. The garden is idyllic in every way, with the views from the bedrooms overlooking the quaintness of the area. Everything was finished to a really high quality standard with filter coffee and fresh milk available ion arrival. The shower was specifically a high point, and our breakfast in the morning was delicious. The hosts also recommended some great local sights to see which was very helpful. We’d love to be back again!

Nice local pub nearby for drinks and quiz night on a Saturday but we didn’t enjoy the food very much

Fashionable and cosy, this place offers everything you need for a good rest after a day of sightseeing. The hosts are superb! Offering lots of advice about the local attractions and the places to eat! And they know their food! They go far and beyond to make you comfortable in their home. The room and the bathroom are newly decorated with the idea of comfort. And the breakfast is out of this world! Some celebrity chefs may consider taking training classes in the kitchen of the hostess!! Thank you Mark and Liz!!

Not a criticism really but maybe provide the option of a full English breakfast for those with a larger appetite. It would’ve been good to know of the no shoes indoors policy too as could’ve packed slippers. But all very minor things which didn’t spoil our stay.

We stayed in the Garden Room which was beautifully secluded and quiet. Just perfect! Really tasty breakfast and hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

We had the most delightful stay at this charming B&B! The Mark and Lucy was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. Their wealth of information on local dining options and places of interest truly enhanced our experience. The house itself was absolutely beautiful, with a quintessential English style setting that added to the overall ambiance. Our room was incredibly comfortable, boasting a luxurious 5-star bed and an exquisite shower that made us feel pampered throughout our stay. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough. Exceptional hospitality.. We'll definitely be returning for another memorable stay!

The garden room has a modern feel in an old house, access to a lovely garden and the privacy we wanted. Pub just down the road, walking distance to the beach and to cap it all great hosts.

There was nothing that we didn't like about Penwyth House. As mentioned above we would definitely recommend it. It may be that parking might be an issue in the height of summer but Mark and Lisa have thought of that already and have arrangements in place for visitors to park at the local church which is only 2 minute walk away.

Mark and Lisa were superb hosts and made sure that we were made very welcome. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean with a very nice bathroom with a large shower. Although the instructions to access the main gate on paper seemed a bit complicated it was super easy and we were actually met by Mark who showed us to our room. Breakfast the next morning cooked by Lisa was very tasty in fact we asked for the recipe!! It was the ideal location, not too far from where we live to have a weekend of respite (We are carers for Steve's 93yr old mum who lives with us) We would highly recommend it. Thanks for taking such good care of us.

Most minor thing! Just a some webs above the shower and either side of the web - not a buggy but we’re both scared of spiders (but considering it was the garden room, we didn’t see any!)

Loved how friendly Mark and Lisa were. Communication was incredible and they couldn’t do enough for us! Room and location was lovely and plenty of options for breakfast. We would deffo recommend and would book again

Absolutely nothing!

Beautiful clean house. All rooms were comfortable and modern. Mark and Lisa were amazing hosts, very welcoming, warm and friendly. Breakfast was amazing in the morning and we had a beautiful stay. The information pack was super helpful telling us about the local area and how to get in and out of Newquay. The village was stunning and quaint. Penwyth House is spacious, homely and charming. The garden area is beautiful too!! Will definitely be visiting again.
