I didn’t realise this was above a pub although it didn’t cause any problems. Also, I wouldn’t normally go for somewhere where there were stairs as soon as you get into the place but again the host was so helpful. This was not an issue for me.

This is right by the station which was perfect for me. I wouldn’t normally go for a shared bathroom but things were very well kept and were clean. There was a sink in my room so I could at least brush my teeth without going outside and there was tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable and although I was told it might be a bit noisy, if I shut both windows it really was fine. I think the host was named Kevin, who was lovely. Had a nice chat about his times in London and he very kindly helped me with my case as there are a few stairs, but not too many. When I left, he even made the effort to listen out for me and helped me down the stairs as well! He didn’t have to but it was very thoughtful. Considering Manchester was very busy that day, it was a well priced room and I felt they made a real effort to run a very good business. Well done!

Only thing is we had to ask for a hand towel for the bathroom (bath towels were provided). I suggest including this as standard in future :-) There was some noise from trams and traffic from the street below in the morning, but the double-glazing is very effective at blocking it out if you close the window.

Sparkling clean triple room with high ceilings, and equally clean private bathroom. The towels were included, and were huge, fluffy, and so clean! Kettle in the room with teas and coffees provided. Water bottles provided was a nice touch, too. Toiletries provided also. Reception man was extremely friendly and welcoming. Honestly can't go wrong with this place! 3mins walk from Piccadilly Station. Ideal!

Shared bathroom, but I was only staying one night so this didn't put me off. Some noise from outside but at this proximity to the station, that's a silly thing to complain about. It didn't affect sleep.

A budget place that doesn't feel too budgety! Clean, comfortable, but simple rooms, with a few amenities, just enough to get you by. Free wifi as well!

We found all the staff cheery and extremely helpful.The room and bathroom facilities were spotless and exceeded our expectations based on the price of the room.A query about parking before we arrived was answered promptly and professionally.We would not hesitate to stay again and would certainly recommend for a base whilst exploring the wonderful Manchester.

I really couldn't fault it. My new favourite place . It is a high end hostel vibe...if you want hotel go somewhere else.

Great location, 4min from Picadilly Manchester Stn. Receptionist really nice/ helpful guy. Room had 2 single beds and sink with towels, shampoo,hairdryer, tv. etc. Shared bathroom on each landing...was clean, fresh and safe.( some rooms are ensuite).Beds and pillows absolutely so comfy. Price was really reasonable...definitely be staying here again. Over a pub but no noise.

Not sure it’s the best area of town - but the hotel is run in an excellent manner and location great from access viewpoint

Close to station - was on short trip so didn’t take long to drop my bag off and go out - staff excellent (night manager moved bag to my room for me so I could go straight out and not wait for room to be cleaned) - place was spotless - place was quiet (slept for 10 hours) - was close to main shopping area) - good price for room - provided small shampoo/shower gel etc bottles - coffee tea etc - high quality towels - had in room shower I wasn’t expecting) -

Clean & cosy rooms with a very comfortable bed. Perfect location. The owners were great - really friendly and kind. Obviously you’re right in the centre so there is traffic noise and I use ear plugs in that situation so it wasn’t a problem for me. The bar area looked lovely too.

Slightly noisy with traffic but had extra glazing over windows.

Very central within walking distance of all areas . Just opposite Piccadilly station so no dragging luggage around.Place was immaculately clean with very comfortable beds . Staff very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to make sure everything was okay including moving us to a smaller cheaper room as family member was ill and unable to come. Pub attached nice place to grab a drink before setting off . I will be staying again as great value for money , clean and comfortable.
