It was great to have a washer/drier as we were on a long trip and had laundry, but disappointing to have no washing powder or similar. Likewise no toiletries in bathroom. Not a huge deal but I think also easy enough to provide. Noise from pub at rear and restaurant below might bother some (though we didn't find it especially intrusive.)

The shower was uninviting and small and we felt let down with the bathroom. The apartment was neighbouring the pub back yard with loud football match/sports bar noise. This meant we had to keep the windows closed in a very hot day.

The bathroom is very tired and has definitely seen better days. Its also dingy as a light doesn't work. They have started to improve the bathroom with an updated shower, but the sooner the do the rest the better... The kitchen is also very tired and needs updating asap. SOme of the cupboard doors are literally hanging on by a thread and the MDF is blown and grotty!

location in the town centre is great. Parking is close, but you have to feed the metre ifyour stayingmore than 1 night and parking needs to be renewed at 8am. We were at a wedding the night before so didn't want to get up early, so parked elsewhere a longer walk away. The space is great with a good size lounge, and bedroom. There is a reasonable dinign space which also doubles nicely to work on the laptop.

The sofa bed is shattered so our friend didn’t sleep great at all. The kitchen needs some real TLC with some doors falling off and just old (doesn’t match the rest) but honestly that’s me being picky! It was a fabulous stay, would definitely book again but just need to replace sofa bed

No chance of a lie-in. The cafe downstairs is very noisy.

It was a little shabby in places, but I can live with shabby chic. The location is perfect, though some outside lighting would have been good.

The kitchen and en suite (quite small) are very tired and need some improvement. The skylight above the bed is very bright and woke us early as our stay was in April.

Location is very central & it’s very easy to access local bars and restaurants. Living space and bedroom are comfortable.

The sky light in the bedroom could do with a blind. woken at 6am but if staying in the summer months it would be earlier. This didn’t ruin our stay though, we thought the apartment was great.

Good location, everything we needed. Really spacious apartment. We we’re out late so didn’t notice if there was any noise from the pub downstairs. There are 2 pay and display car parks a 2 minute walk away both reasonably priced.

The warm cosy look and feel of the flat, lots of light, well equipped with everything we needed. The location is perfect, right in the centre, only minutes walking from the railway station and to the bus station, plenty of shops and 2 large supermarkets on hand. The host always available for any queries. The cafe below us with good food and friendly staff. The sounds of the cafe can be heard in the flat but never disturbed us and the cafe closes at 4-5pm.

The information regarding the process of finding the entrance did not arrive in time. We came to the address on Pillory Street knocked on the closed cafe door as we saw a man there but he could not hear us. It wasn't clear that the cafe has nothing to so with the apartment. We rang the tel number but unfortunately we had a very poor connection and we couldn't make head or tail of how to get to the property entrance. We finally made it but what a frustrating experience!! It may be wise to send the information about the location ahead of time explaining the cafe entrance is nothing to do with the accommodation and the entrance is in Barker street and the key is available in the key box.. As some have used the key code to gain entry early, the key code could be sent on the day of arrival.

Shower was a bit small. There were a few small things that could be fixed/updated. No A/C, but very few places in England do. Same for wash clothes...bring your own.

The apartment was roomy and bed comfortable. Very near town center. The hosts were wonderful. Apartment is above a cafe and run by the hosts. So, breakfast and coffee are just downstairs.

The space and comfort, with everything you would expect, beautifully smelling linens and towels. The owners are very responsive to questions and advice when asked and the cafe downstairs.
